I have seen Jesus Christ, his face appeared on a cloud, I also took his picture as proof of his existence, but even telling people about my testimony and showing them proof of Jesus Christ existence they still don't believe. I now use the picture as my Logo. Praise the Lord 🙏

Here's a question: What's wrong with the answer, "I don't know". Example: Say I was born before microscopes where invented. How do we know viruses exist. With no way of knowing they exist at that time. That answer is, "I don't know." And on top of that, I don't put assumptions as facts. Or, I don't put a god in place of the "I don't know." As an agnostic atheist, my answer to the god question is, "I don't know." And until a god is proven to exist, I will live my life with compassion for others, and that brings value to my life. I love my life. Life is beautiful, with or without a god.

I would rather believe there is a GOD, then die not believing in Jesus Christ and find out there is a GOD.

Why would apologists have to work so hard at this stuff if any of their gods were actually _real?_ How can a _god_ be the world's worst communicator? We'd all know it, if your god were actually real, wouldn't we?
Keep in mind that Christians can't even agree with _each other_ about much of anything, let alone with the other faith-based people in the world, even when you're all supposedly following the same magic book supposedly provided to you by the same supposedly all-knowing deity. Is _this_ really the best a god could do? How inept can a god _be?_
Worldwide, faith-based people _overwhelmingly_ believe in whatever religion and whatever god or gods they were taught to believe as a child. There's a _reason_ why 83% of Italians are Christian, while 90% of Egyptians are Muslim and 80% of Indians are Hindu. Does _that_ really sound like any of those gods are more than just imaginary?
I have yet to hear even *one* piece of good evidence (specific enough and in enough detail that I can judge it myself) that your god or _any_ god is real, rather than just imaginary. _Maybe_ there's a god. Maybe it's even _your_ god. But the time to believe that is _after_ there's good evidence backing it up.
Right now, it sure seems like wishful-thinking to me.

Christians agree on the main issue which is Jesus died on the cross for everyone’s sins. You’re talking about denomination differences. Those issues are really not important toGod. He sees the heart. Open your heart

_"Christians agree on the main issue which is Jesus died on the cross for everyone’s sins."_
Thanks for the reply. But leaving aside how that can even make _sense_ to you (because I really don't understand that), Christians are less than one-third of humanity. Doesn't your god _want_ people to believe in him? Tell me, how inept can a god _be?_
      _"You’re talking about denomination differences."_
For centuries, you guys _killed_ each other over those differences, so let's not minimize them now! And again, even if you accept Catholics, Mormons, or whatever as 'real Christians' (many Christians do not), you're ignoring all of the other religious people in the world. Again, faith-based people worldwide _overwhelmingly_ just believe in whatever religion and whatever god or gods they were taught to believe as a child.
In fact, if you're a Christian, there's a very good chance that you were raised in that particular culture (whether your family was devout or not). Were you taught about Santa Claus as a kid? Converts do exist, of course, but they're a tiny minority. For the most part, religion just seems to be tribal, that's all. Most people just stick with the religion of their tribe.
_"Those issues are really not important toGod."_
*Evidence?* You can make up whatever you want about any magical being you want, but if you don't have *anything* distinguishable from wishful-thinking backing it up, how can I take it seriously?
Maybe you should think with your brain, not with your heart? Unless you don't _care_ if your beliefs are true or not, of course.

An absolutely shocking lack of even a basic understanding of Christian theological, Biblical and philosophical thoughts. Your criticisms are lazy, tired, simplistic and crude. You would well to watch Mr McGrath's talks and intellectual insights. I wonder why you are even here? There are plenty of RUclips channels with atheist popularizers where your comments would be more at home, this arena is for the grown-ups, willing to grapple seriously with serious matters, including the question of God''s existence and engage properly with serious atheist arguments and objections.

_"Your criticisms are lazy, tired, simplistic and crude."_
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed them. :)
But, clearly, they were too much for _you,_ huh? After all, _this_ was all you could manage in reply? I wonder why you even bothered?
_"I wonder why you are even here?"_
The short answer? They put "atheism" in the description of the video. That's just how RUclips works.
The longer answer is that I enjoy talking to intelligent people who disagree with me about religion. And I'm not infallible, you know. I _could_ be wrong. And I care about the truth. How could I ever test my own thinking if I only talk with people who agree with me?
Do _you_ stay firmly inside the religious bubble you were born in, then? Do you never "grapple seriously with serious matters" with people who _don't_ already agree with you about everything? To each his own, but that seems not just useless, but boring to me.
The hard part is finding a theist willing to have a conversation, a back-and-forth discussion, with an atheist. Funny, isn't it? For all the talk about how Christians have a missionary duty, you guys only want to converse among yourselves, apparently. Well, I suppose it's easier to convince someone of something they _already_ believe?
That must be why Christian apologists - and Muslim apologists, too - only seem to preach to the choir, huh?
_"this arena is for the grown-ups, willing to grapple seriously with serious matters, including the question of God''s existence and engage properly with serious atheist arguments and objections."_
But without actually _talking_ with an atheist? In other words, you just want to deal with your _strawman_ atheist arguments and objections, not with the actual arguments and objections of an actual atheist? Yeah, that fits.
Of course, I'm sure you're far more knowledgeable and capable than just some random dude on the internet, huh? I'm just an ordinary guy, after all. Maybe we little people need to know our place? :)
Well, maybe it's a personal failing, but I care about the truth. I _care_ about the _truth._ And evidence is how we distinguish reality from delusion and wishful-thinking. As I said above, I have yet to hear even *one* piece of good evidence, specific enough and in enough detail that I can judge it for myself, that any god is real, rather than simply imaginary.
Similarly, when it comes to Christianity in particular, I have yet to hear even one piece of good evidence that _any_ of the magical/supernatural stories in the Bible actually happened. I've heard the stories, of course. I've heard the claims. But not even *one* piece of good evidence backing up anything that's not entirely mundane.
And I _don't_ stay inside an atheist bubble, where you apparently want me to stay. I listen to what Christians have to say. I listen to what Muslims have to say. I listen to what Jews, Mormons, pagans have to say. I'd listen to Hindus, too, but I don't seem to encounter any. And pretty much none of those people want to talk when I ask them for evidence backing up their claims.
_You_ didn't reply with anything, and neither did the person who replied, earlier. Neither of you seem inclined to talk with an atheist. Indeed, you made it clear that you don't want me here at all. So, I guess I'll keep looking for a theist who _is_ willing to talk with someone who doesn't already agree with them.

@@Bill_Garthright I would be only too willing in having a serious conversation about the ultimate question, and there are many fine atheist minds who are respectful, generous and armed with valid objections which Christians have to engage with theologically and philosophically. I will take you at your word that you are of a similar mind, but social media are not the place for substantial dialogue, at best they are only good for a basic reaction or to give a summary of your thoughts. The only reason I responded to your comment is because it was lazy, crude and simplistic. We can all be guilty of such actions when we are passionate and riled, I did not mean to offend you, I apologize for that, just think carefully about how you respond before offering first thoughts, especially on a channel with sophisticated Christian philosophy and theology, this is not the forum for Christian Nationalists, where you comments might carry more validity. All the best.
