Ah man, wish this was longer, usually, I hate 10-15 minute interviews, I wanted this one to go on for 30 mins, Guz is too funny and we need more of him on TV
I started watching man like Mobeen because its super relatable to how british asian communities are and Guz is so funny 😂. He really tries to bring awareness in the series too so i can believe he was a cool teacher lmao
I’m from a family where the older generations are immigrants but very much grew up within the culture and socioeconomic position for that matter of an immigrant household. Maybe I missed it from people around me but I’ve never experienced nor heard of the weetabix with water thing until Guz Khan mentioned it. Maybe it’s a north south thing. We are townies from the mill towns of the north. It was weird for me to hear about it being an Asian thing. (‘Asian’ in the UK normally refers to south west Asians, for the US people out there)
Just finished watching Man like Mobeen, gordon bennet I have not laughed that hard in my life! This man should be a national treasure. The funniest comedian I have seen in a long time!
If you can make a bunch of teenagers going through Puberty laugh and keep their attention for 50 minute lessons, sometimes double that, then you’ve won half the fight of being a comedian
Guz deserves all his success, he’s such a down to earth and humble guy. He’s paving the path for other people to follow and I love how genuine he is. Great interview I wish it was longer
