As someone in Sustainability, the reality of environmental damage and global warming is incredibly depressing. Watching the scientists screaming about the incoming global disaster and politicians ignoring it all - don't say they didn't warn you 😢

There are bits of 'good news' around coral and regreening, but these are nothing compared to the loss of rainforests... the UK was 80% forest, now it's under 10% (most of that is single species plantation in Scotland). The population of sparrows has dropped over 50% since the 1960's, songbirds are in a worse decline. Some studies in Europe show insect populations down 80%. Fossil fuels, pesticides, plastic, we just keep making and burning more. It is not sustainable and it has a huge effect on all life on Earth. Denying it is stupid delusion. It is big business who is lying to you, not climate scientists :)

Meat is getting more expensive and was never meant to be eaten or produced in the amounts some consider the norm. A cheaper, easier alternative for SOME of their meals should be exactly what people want but because it's unnecessarily politically charged now, tough luck 😂 I bet if all the poor families in europe and america could be tricked or forced into trying the alternatives, >75% of them would see significant improvements both financially and healthwise. And then go back to cheap meat because yummy😅 Nobody has ever gotten healthier by eating more meat but eating less meat is almost always beneficial to your weight, blood pressure, skin, digestion and overall wellbeing. Why? Learn a BIT about nutrition, find better stuff you also like, save a lot of money while getting in better shape. Tell me what's not to like here. if you have to, spend that extra money on great meat from great sources for the occasional bbq feast or whatever. Nobody tells you to go cold turkey. Lowering the amounts will do plenty good for everyone involved I just had BK, I'm not preaching, just stating the obvious truth some people can't seem to hear

In fact, we benefitted from the EU deal that made NZ products cheaper due to the blocks massif purchasing power. We only have "fish to spare" because of Brexit! Before Brexit, most of our catches were sold in the EU. Since Brexit, tariffs have made it too expensive and the paperwork required (by our own Government) means it cannot be delivered fresh. Please research before looking daft!

Minimizing extra quantities of food when it is realistically not needed. Also, learning how to properly store already made food or meals that will still be fresh for a later time.

On a trip to the States, I was surprised at the size of the portions in restaurants. Most of them could feed a family of three at least!
