Hello Steve, yes, a nice day but hard work!😅 Lots of anglers on the river and difficult to find a virgin spot. Where I fished, others had gone before me, so I can’t complain.😉

See. I told you that you would do fine. Would love to have seen the one you lost on that high bank pool. It gave you a nice fight. Cudos on being willing to switch flies and even styles to hit the right combination. Maybe from your competition background. I sometimes try too long to force feed them the flies they "should" take. Thanks for taking us with you.

😂 Michael, I also would have liked to see the one that I lost!! When something appears not to be working, you have to make changes. I was late arriving at the party, which meant that I was playing catch up and fishing trampled water. Never mind, it was a few enjoyable hours in pleasant surroundings and I managed to pop a few fish into the net!👍

Hello Steven, yes, especially to the mini buggers. Clearly too much water for the dry or duo - if they looked up, it disappeared before their eyes!😂 With the recent stocking, the river was busy!😉
