My husband is over a year and a half clean. His doc was herion and other opiates. It has been a long, hard road but we are getting there. I can see how easy it is to enable your loved one. Eventually you get to a point where you can't do it anymore. I think a big reason this type of enabling is more due to denial. It is hard to come to terms with knowing that your loved one loves their drug of choice more then even their self's. I will pray that him and his family can find the courage and strength to get into a positive rehab program. We also need a recovery plan. Our addiction becomes the denial and the wall we build emotionally doesn't come down easily. We become as toxic as the addict in our lives. I still find myself feeling suspicious of my husband even though I know he is clean. It is not easy but there is hope and there is help but to get our loved one the help they need you have to become okay with the idea that they will just push you out of their life. But at least you can say you tried. It is not as simple as I wish it was! If anyone in the chat is needing someone to talk to about addiction, whether you are the one struggling with addiction or it is anyone in your life struggling with it, you are welcome to reach out to me! And it can be anyone in your life. An x boss who I care very much for is an alcoholic. For along time she functioned but he boyfriend brought her to a very scary place. I have issues because of that. The whole part about the gender selection bugged me. When Catelynn said I'm not dropping $20k on a baby, my heart sunk. This is the reality for soo many women who struggle with infertility. 1 round of IVF IS very costly and you are not guaranteed a baby in the end. Be happy with what you get, you have no idea how many women pray to get pregnant naturally.

Accordung to chyenne, both men were informed that they were a possibility but they all thought it was her boyfriend's since her hookup with corey was so brief. Also Cheyenne cheated on her boyfriend with Cory gets pregnant and passed the baby off as the boyfriends until Cory took a DNA test. Cory didn't even know he had a daughter until months after Ryder was born. Yes it's both of their responsibility when it comes to having unprotected sex, but it was ultimately HER decision (and her decision alone since Cory didn't know she existed for months) to bring the baby into this world.

I think Ryan is on methadone. It makes you gain weight and you get really sleepy, like when you're on heroin. It's used by doctors for patients to come off heroin or hardcore opiates. But if you take enough methadone you will get a 'high' from it.

I’m an OG IVF baby (31 this year), so THANK YOU for bringing up this serious medical procedure. It should be 100% Caitlin’s push and decision since it’s so physically and emotionally taxing. I’ve heard the stories of what my mom had to go through and the lengths that she had to have me. I can’t see someone going into this without strong conviction.

They work on contract or on call, so he can decide when or how long to take time of, and I don't know if his (not being allowed to) return to the US date was perhaps subject to the corona travel suspension ? It used to be (I am ancient) that you got to stay in the US for three months, return home for at least six weeks and would possibly be interrogated up on returning to the US.
Tyler is incredible. I love Cait too but he's off the chain impressive with his dedication as a partner, father and son. Sadly IVF doesn't guarantee a successful pregnancy either. The whole part about the gender selection bugged me. When Catelynn said I'm not dropping $20k on a baby, my heart sunk. This is the reality for soo many women who struggle with infertility. 1 round of IVF IS very costly and you are not guaranteed a baby in the end. Be happy with what you get, you have no idea how many women pray to get pregnant naturally.
Do you know how many woman would keep trying to get a specific gender. I know 3 ppl who did that. Someone even has 8 kids, and when they finally got a girl on the 8th try she tied her tubes. Just because something isnt a terrible promblem dosent mean its not a issue.

Then she tried to have a relationship with him after the baby was here. Backwards moving on her part. Also Cheyenne cheated on her boyfriend with Cory gets pregnant and passed the baby off as the boyfriends until Cory took a DNA test. Cory didn't even know he had a daughter until months after Ryder was born. Yes it's both of their responsibility when it comes to having unprotected sex, but it was ultimately HER decision (and her decision alone since Cory didn't know she existed for months) to bring the baby into this world.

The doctor was not being really honest about the injections and the side effects. Kind of made me mad for Catelynn. I suffer from depression as well and in my experience all doctors act like it’s nothing.
When you've seen a drug addict go through the same thing for so long it's easy to recognize when someone isn't sober and Maci knows no matter what anyone says.

I think Ryan is on methadone. It makes you gain weight and you get really sleepy, like when you're on heroin. It's used by doctors for patients to come off heroin or hardcore opiates. But if you take enough methadone you will get a 'high' from it.

Sadly IVF doesn't guarantee a successful pregnancy either. All this pressure to have a boy and if that doesn't happen, do you know how mentally and emotionally damaging that is I've been trying for 6yrs for just 1 child suffering from losses instead and its exhausting.
