Timburr4453...want to know another fun fact!? Lol...in 1952 , when Rocket Richard scored his 325th to beat the all-time most goals (Nels Stewart 324) that same night Elmer Lach scored his 200th !?!? Lol...quite an achievement for the time !
@isabelleguenette809 Very interesting...I had no idea who was the all time goals leader before Richard took the crown in 1952. Gordie eventually would take that in the mid 1960s I believe
500 Goals for Lafleur Great vid - just think if Sam Pollock had picked Mike Bossy and didn't listen to Ron Carron his scout HABS Would still have been winning Stanley Cups in the early 80's 🏆😎
Pollock also had the #1 pick in the 1980 draft, obtained years earlier. At the time, the draft age was 19. The reason being, Stan had heard of some kid named Wayne. Just think, 1981 CC, every night.
@@scottmorissey8915 Should have picked Denis Savard . Lafleur - Savard - Bossy Hindsight but imagine the possibilities maybe 8 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆Cups in a row for the HABS 😎
...we should never forget that Steve Shutt scored his 400th the same night.
very cool. didn't know that

@@timburr4453yep you got it ! Gordie took it with his 545th in early 60's
Guy always met the fans, respected the media. He was such a gentleman and a class act. We miss him dearly.
R.I.P Guy, one of the Canadiens all time great.........
A Beauty👍
Some of the more knowledgeable and respectful Devils fans can be heard giving Lafleur a nice hand!
Exactly. They appreciated his career.

Bossy was in a later draft
The one and only original "Le Floweur"
Le Démon Blond, l'idole des Québécois.
Then Jacques Lemaire killed his career.
@@daveyboy_ Lemaire was a good coach but the wrong coach for Guy
Guuuuuuy!
That ‘83-‘84 season was a forgettable one except for the playoffs.
Guy was the only one not wearing a helmet.
Phil Russell was playing for the Devils at the time and helmetless I believe
