I have been on a binge of Charlotte moving and “things to know” videos and I must say you are hilarious and relatable I’m ready to move to Charlotte as well to grow within my current company and also single young no dependents! The time is definitely now I can’t wait anymore it’s getting way to expensive where I’m currently at in FL to the point where I’m like why do I even have a roommate the 1 bedroom gonna cost the same thing in Charlotte !!!! 🤣 and you not lying about them moving quotes because even a local move they charge between 500 minimum and I’m like FOR WHAT it’s literally just ME not a family of 5 🤣🤣

I have a 16 year old so I wanted to know what are some affordable areas to move to? did you have employment before you moved out there?..that is the plan for me. What are affordable areas for african-american families?
Hi! I would look at areas around the city. The further from uptown the more space you get for your money. I'm still learning the city, but I do love areas north towards concord. I did land employment prior to moving. All of the major banks are here, so I would definitely serach in those industries.
I love living in Charlotte, congrats on your move!! I'm rooting for everybody moving here, food.....they love food trucks here, look it up food truck Fridays and black food truck Fridays. From Baltimore so I know what you mean about diversity

Congratulations on your move! I came to Charlotte three years ago to check out apartments, I toured a very new apartment complex, and a not so new one. The primary bedrooms were not as spacious as I would like but I’m sure there are plenty of other places available. I currently have a realtor, checking things out for me. I am definitely downsizing and not bringing much furniture with me.

I moved to SC for a few months and hated it ! After visiting Charlotte, I fell in love ! It definitely does give DMV vibes . And i’ll be moving there by the end of the year ! 🎉

I’m moving on the next four months. I’m hearing so many things about schools. Is there any good schools there?
I'm not very knowledgeable about the schools here. From what I've herad, a lot of children go to private schools and Ballantyne schools are supposed to be really good. I hope this article helps

Where do you currently live? It's better than the dc area. Usually I'm dying but right now I haven't started my allergy meds yet

Do apartments there take job offer letters. Like if i get a job first. I have 2 kids so im going to need a place to stay
