Stonewall penalty at the end there. And a clear red card for the elbow on Taylor earlier in the game too- Celtic were dross and the officials nearly had as much of a nightmare themselves with two big calls wrong.

I thought the only point of VAR was to award even more outrageous decisions to the Old Firm. Apparently not. Very reassuring.
Great , a lot of Celts were getting arsey , this 'll bring them down a little bit.
The only positive is that Celtic are still unbeaten in the league and will improve, but Brendan needs a new striker and midfield player. Hopefully, the 1-0 defeat by Killie is just a blip. Killie deserved their win and as Rangers also found out, will be hard to beat at Rugby Park. Their surface gives them an obvious advantage.
That's why we finished 10th last season mate and got relegated two seasons ago 😭😂

@@israeldavinerisalves8711 It is obvious that Celtic has not been doing well since the change of manager and Hatate's regular role was taken away by the incompetent new manager. He belongs neither at a big club nor in the big five leagues. It would be a waste of time for the rest of his career if he continues to be a fill-in in Scotland.

Offside & a clear penalty. Dreadful decisions but regardless if we were better today we wouldn't have had to rely on the refs getting them right.
Where is the offside? VAR checked it was onside.
The so called penalty would have been harsh since the attacker kicked the ball out of play and then kicked the defenders leg. The same attacker that dove about 5mins before as well and show have been booked for diving.
Celtic were rank.
@blairmeikle5192 even with the VAR review, you can see some white behind the blue line drawn for the attacker which suggests to me he is just beyond play. That's how I seen it anyway at the time & still how I see it from highlights. Have the new offide rules proposed earlier on been implemented yet where the attacker gets the advantage? I didn't think it had yet.
With regards to the penalty claim, the view he kicked the defenders foot is nonsense. He is running with the ball, the defender sticks his leg out in front of Halsabanovic as he is running with the ball. He's stopped him from attempting to catch & cross the ball in so for me 100% a penalty, stonewaller in fact. Agree though we were rank & shouldn't be depending on these decisions being called to win a match. Kilmarnock were excellent & wanted it more.

The “penalty”…. To be totally honest if it was for my team I would also be asking for it and I definitely think the fact he dived 5mins before wouldn’t have helped.
I still think the attackers movement took him into the defenders outstretched leg.
I wouldn’t say it was stone wall though.

@blairmeikle5192 it's tight that is for sure. It is exactly the same as Rangers 2nd goal for me against PSV this week. It's tight but he looks clearly off to me yet it somehow stood. Most Rangers supporters I've spoken to about it are also surprised it wasn't given offside.
With regards to the penalty it shouldn't matter if he has went down earlier too easily, you have to treat both incidents individually. It's definitely a penalty for me & most pundits seem to agree. When you have Barry Ferguson, a stout bluenose saying he can't believe it wasn't given & it was a clear penalty you know it was. How VAR doesn't step in is beyond me, it's only as good as the officials operating it & unfortunately they are still inept up here.
Good to have a proper debate on it all though without descending into name calling & arguments which is usually the case on RUclips. Killie played well on the day & well worth their victory 👍

No, the Killie player was clearly ahead of the Celtic defence. By VAR rules he was offside. It was a clear penalty also as the defender stood on the Celtic players foot....everyone could see it. But Killie still deserved their win.@@uppyoldskool6652
