Bc of this commercial I only flew AA. Sadly the airline is generic and does not know it’s customers or care about its legacy. In less than 20 years after 9/11 the airline catered to fake science and violated basic human rights - never questioning or fighting against evil. Not the American way!

Phenomenal commercial. There is a reason why two of the hijacked jets were American airlines jets that horrific day. The name of the airline in red, white, and blue colors gave the airline an x on their backs. AMERICAN. This commercial shows our resolve at that very uncertain time for the American people. I like the ending,...Proud to bear the name.......AMERCIAN!!!!

Interesting choice of music. It's the same as the music used in the old Ansett Australia (a now non-existent Autralian airline that began is 1936 and folded in 2002) adverts from the mid to late 90's. Ansett used the actual Enya song "Storms In Africa" but American are using a slight remix of it. You can see the Ansett ads all over RUclips. Great AA advert and as an Australian, I really like the look of AA's planes whenever I'm in the USA. The sliver, red and blue is beautiful I think.

@southpilot There is nothing with 757's or MD-80's. Every major airline still has 757's and there are plenty of MD-80's in service. DC-9-30's were still in use at Delta up until last year. An aircraft can fly forever so long as it is properly maintained. The flying public is too stupid to understand that concept. There are plenty who can get on a 757 and see IFE's on board and say, "This is brand new aircraft!"
