@@H.O.M.I. this may be a silly question, and maybe you mentioned in this video and i didn't pick up b/c i'm still figuring it out... anyway, so my question is, can any major, minor, dim, whatever chord be played over a key? is it better to pick chords that have similar notes to the key? ever since I discovered what diatonic chords are the other day, and what it is made up of, it has made me question if there is more rules and patterns like what i've been learning so far. (still early in music theory and only 1 and a half years guitarist, bare with me sorry). so like, could i have a progression completely made up of dim chords? have a progression made up of 3 minors and one major? thanks! i might benefit from private lessons but i'm unemployed :/
Yeah man. You lost me when you went to modes. That is not how modes work, while playing chords and that only confuses people. If your next sentence is "Learning arpeggios is the ENTRY point" why would you introduce such an advanced concept of modes if you are talking about an "Entry point" in improvising?
Hi, Burjedero! I double checked the video and it seems the audio is working. Check the settings on your end. Here are some things to check: 1. Make sure your computer is not muted 2. Check your cables to headphone or audio interface ( if you have either) 3. Check your system preferences on your laptop or phone. Good luck!
This is a very very good lesson! Just what I needed! Thanks!
Glad to help!
That was funny when you introduced Modes. You are a soldier of You Tube ! Subscribed.

Dude, this is exactly what I needed. Funny that I came across video when it’s been on my mind to search it up.
Phenomenal, Shockafter! Glad to be of service!
