Go with an Nvidia GPU if you can, RX6600xt has a lot a problems if you know what to look for and aren't blind like a lot of people. Most of the issues being mainly Driver related. The drivers are getting a little better, but by far way worse than Nvidia in terms of stability and micro stutters.

The drivers for amd aren't as bad as what they were they're great cards now with more mature drivers. I've had a rx 6600, rx 6700 xt, and currently have a rx 6900 xt and non have given me any issues. Also both my sister and gf have are 6700 xt and none as of yet.

Hey bro. What driver did u use? And did u use amd adrenalin app? When I download amd adrenalin, i've got 300 fps avg on valorant (low set) and sometimes fps drop happened. Sorry for my bad english.

I am getting pretty to fps with 16 gb ram with 3200 MHz ddr4 and Ryzen 5 5600 plus rx 6600 8gb. With amd free sync monitor with more than 165 ghz without even need to boost my fps or overclock i have 750 watt power supply or i don't have too boost my fps in gta5. I also have gaming motherbord B550M-PLUS that supports pcie 4. My build is Asus tuf based pc like everything is from Asus tuf also the pc case and motherboard that supports amd. Does this pc sounds strong high end pc?
Ngl seems good enough for competitive gaming at 1080p, i think its perfect for a first build or just first gaming pc at all.

Hello I can ask if this graphic card ( SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 6600 8GB ) can run games like cyberpunk or Mafia definitive edition. My CPU is Intel core i7 3770 and my RAM is 8GB. I think this graphic card is verry good.

What motherboard should I use with a ryzen 5 5600g with a rx 6600 because with any b450 on pc part picker it says I will need an adapter
you'll just need a bios update, nothing else
You'll just waste your money by getting the 5600g. Just get the 5600 its will be way better
Use a320m motherboard, pretty cheap to grab and no issues as well
And yeah get the 5600 non X version, don't go for the 5600G if you haven't bought it already

I heard people had issues with this combination 5600 + rx6600 like stutters in games or "Driver timeout".

Yea, but Amd fixed most of the issues with time and now its stable unlike the old drivers

@@andrugeorgethe Ryzen 5 5600 (with a slight overclock) is good enough for up to a RX6700 XT. You can keep that CPU for a long time

500w is enough for your build
6600 doesn't use much energy. Even 450w will be enough. Just be sure that you psu is really plus bronze.
mine runs at 70-90W (65-75º) on cyberpunk 1080p high.

This is the perfect pc for me, very good 1080p performance, and fortnite is over 200fps which is my main game. I never had a pc before ive always been on console. And i plan to build this pc in the summer of 2024

How to eliminate tearing in valorant with fps higher than monitors refresh rate?
I get bad tearing when my fps is higher than monitor hz. Tried using Radeon enhance but I still get screen tearing.
limit your fps according to your monitor maximum screen refresh rate... for example your monitor is 75 hz, limit your fps lower than 75 then turn on game mode in the window settings for a stable game play.. hope it helps

I think that happens because it is a second gen cpu and its not well optimized. I think so im not sure.

ryzen 7200x (17598 points on CPU Mark) is equivalet to the ryzen 3600 (17805points on CPU Mark). it shouldn't be bottlenecking you. Please, remember that this is a 1080p gpu.

5600g: works only PCIe 3.0 If you are gointo use a PCIe 4.0 graphics card (6600, 6600x etc) whit it: -> Slower fps in games and 5600g has only 16MB cache memory.
5600/5600X: works whit PCle 4.0 graphics cards (Ofc you need a motherboard whit PCIe 4.0x16) and cache memory is 32MB.
RX 6600 ou RTX 2060 ?
5600 pairs well with rx6600, 3500x drags rx6600 down, so I upgraded to 5600.
I currently have R5 2400g, it seriously grab down the performance of my RX 6600, I want to upgrade to R5 5600 (Or R5 5600x worth it?)
@@GrowlKat Absolutely worth it, bro. I've tested it with some poorly optimized games like watch dogs and ghost recon, and it now runs smoothly well above 60 fps, before that, it was 40-50.

Not necessarily, newest drivers sometimes are so terrible they keep crashing after few seconds making the pc unusable

@@otakudude7119 having a single stick of memory is going to be slower than having 2 of course not just because of speed loss but you are gonna fill that 8gb of ram real quick, so you should expect that its gonna throttle your system and plan to upgrade eventually, you don't need super expensive ram with rbg and all that for starters, the 8gb stick should be able to get you by but you are gonna notice real quick that just having a few things open these days ( discord, chrome, steam ) can eat like half your memory.
( side note if you are going to buy a second stick of ram make sure it has the same freq. and timings with the one you own or you could opt into buying 2x8gb bundle if its going to be an upgrade in CL and timings because usually a bundle doesn't cost that much than just one stick, and always check your motherboard manual to know that you install it in the correct slot )
