Their flexibility, athleticism, and their timing and synchronization are incredible. The time, energy, and work that this took… i have to respect that. And the end result is fun, engaging, and enjoyable.
the choreographer for Tippy Toes is Sienna Lalau, she and a few of her pro friends actually uploaded their own video of it on her channel!
Mascara's choreography - their 2nd single - is by Sienna Lalau as well, along with Renan (from 1 million studio) as assistant choreographer
Edited: Ooh, i gotta add! Their company XGALX isn't saying much about how they're trained, but we are sure that both Jurin (leader, black tank top) and Cocona (bucket hat) are both students of Avex Artists Academy. It's a pretty popular school in japan for aspiring artists. so i think that is where the group were trained in all aspects of performance as well!

@@xiaouiris no problem! not a lot of people outside of japan knows how the entertainment industry works there, not to mention how stingy they are with eng subtitles 😅
here's another fun info tho, big entertainment companies in japan, like Avex, all have established their own ecosystems where they produce their own artists, production staff, recording labels, and even clothing lines. this is why they don't have to outsource much when they hold big events. and when i say big events, i mean BIG events.
Avex hosts a yearly music festical called A-Nation, where they feature their top artists, i think recently they also featured internation artists that they distribute music for in japan (like TVXQ, Super Junior, and SHinee). They also have Dance Nation, where their dance students are the star of the show. It's like a school festival, just 100x bigger.
There are many instances where mere students in these schools/academies, get a following of their own, even when they're just students. And although debuting as an artist is quite difficult, because competition is really tough qnd standards are super high, students will still have a chance to build up a portfolio as backup dancers, mv extras, even drama guestings, so when they decide to get out and pursue opportunities elsewhere, they already got an impressive resume to show.
japan doesn't release much outside of their country, but it's cause they're very self-sustaining. along with strict copyright laws, fans really will have to either go to japan or buy stuff from there to get contents of their faves.
now though, since they're getting beaten up (figuratively, financially they're doing fine lmao), through globalization, i think they're slowly but surely opening up to the world AND I AM HERE FOR IT!!! I hope you are as well!

In their japanese interview they said that they use a metronome when they practice. When they sing or dance so they can hear themselves and they can hear their footsteps. They can tell who messes up that way.

They're amazing and I think that they've improved their moves and body control for Mascara.
They are Japanese and in a recent interview for a Japanese TV show they said that for dance practice they use a metronome to improve their synchronization because it allows them to hear more details than using the music
That’s actually a really good idea to use a metronome, I know of a few dancers that do that. Mascara is on my list!

The formation , the synchronization, the athletism and flexibility is on 🔥🔥 I 've seen their other dance , they can be sensual , sexy and hit hard when it needed .
I think their are choreographers and vocal coaches in their team, who realise they have seven individuals, who are so talented and hard-working that they can deliver any idea they can dream of.

I mean the choreographers are Sienna Lalau(Lyrical Hip hop, also from The Lab dance crew which won World of Dance Season 2) and May J Lee(Elegant Choreographer from 1Million Studio). So overall the choreography is about musicality and hitting either the lyrics or to the beat of the music.

the thing with kpop groups is that they would train for years even bfore a debut...i think that what makes the difference
XG is a Hip hop and R&B group from Japan. The girls are Japanese and so is their company XGALX (subsidiary of AVEX) 👍
