WoW Classic - New WORLD RECORD Assisted 1-60! 24 Hours 8 Minutes!!

- The criteria for the assisted world record is 1-60 in REAL TIME. You can see all the criteria at www.speedrun.c.... As such I did a 24 hour stream and leveled as fast as possible to 60. The difficult aspect of the farm is that we only had 30 instance lockouts to play with, so we had to get very unconventional with our leveling strategy and bring out some new techniques for power leveling! I took a lot of risks and brought in pulls such as the Mara 500 pull which I had only pulled off twice successfully, but it all paid off and I couldn't be happier with the time. Massive massive shoutout to Rox, Magester, Onyxias Bakery, Potato, and everyone who helped out with the world record! I have all the names listed down below and they were a MASSIVE help in pulling all of this off!

Fearstreet 528 posts a record video of 21hrs 16mins just curious if you didn't see this. Also, mob tagging with a 60 warlock works extremely fast. Warlock can curse pull all mobs to you, then you can melee or AOE so it makes more classes viable for the tag boosting.
Dumb question here.. To qualify for a “World Record fastest 1-60” does it have to be done in 1 session? I know it would take over a year but if you were able to be summoned to the grind area and hearth back to inn immediately once double xp runs out.

That would be called a segmented run.
But it's still viable - if your /played is lower than 24hr total, you're a record holder!
@Arthur Silva could cut the time down alot doing it that way, one main problem he has is the 30 dungeon lockout, which would also disappear doing this.
Thought Maguno from Heartseeker had the record with 19hr 10m? Both assisted. Both boosted. Both used mob tagging. Only difference is this is in one sitting I guess?
Mara pull is 75% of a level in 22 minutes.
Me: A 25% drop rate quest takes 100 mobs and 2 hours and I still don't have them all.
I was in those mara pulls when you were running it. I recognized the name. You even said im testin things. Lets see if I show up in that future vid.

For anyone else interested in that beautiful Bag addon it's Adibags. Had to snoop the twitch stream to find that!

Also the Dungeons average level can be manipulated by having low levels who barely get exp from the mobs like a group of 3 level 24s inside GY and a group of 3 30s in SM cath these make the main person getting exp get a slight bit more exp like 10-20% more if im not mistaken.
You can search for character names, guilds, races, classes, zones, like so:
/who n-"Ironf" g-"Guild" r-"Human" c-"Mage" z-"Elwynn"
you couldve also boost to level 8, leveled engineering on the alt, and went into RFC
you get a mage to pull every mob without hitting them and bring it back to the starting zone and get the alt being carried to throw a bomb at them and leave group
hopefully by the 1 minute countdown all mobs are dead and your alt gets full xp without the level 60 xp loss. this can be done with all dungeon 1 pulls for full xp.
Make sure to have 'Dejunk' setup. This Addon can auto-delete items from your inventory. Filters can be item quality, type, ... and with a seperate list. Items can be added to the destroyables list simply using drag and drop. This would have helped with your morrowgrain problem. Of course this would normally rather be used for something like deleting low-value greys from e.g. ZF.
Additionally, you might wanna check the viability of using weakauras for faster turn-ins. You are fast indeed, but I think you can go just as fast if not faster with an appropriate weakaura and the only thing you need to do is roll your mousewheel instead of hammering 1 key and 1 mousebutton.

3 months of prep + 24 hours and 7 minutes. It took you 3 months and a day to level
yep, while regular people like us level solo questing,, taking our sweet time, be afk quite a bit & do 1-60 in 2 or 3 weeks no stress. But i get it, it's a challenge & a rush, just for the lulz & testing the game limits. Just another way to play it.

The Ironforge naming trick was a creative idea, but you can type "/who n-ironf" and it will show only results with the name ironf, not zone or guild. Same for "z-" and "g-"
i would like to add a hyperspawn location you may/may not know about. You were killing worgen in duskwood and there are nightbane vile fang/tainted ones south of the field you were in (coords (61, 81)). I was able to kill 13/minute with 5 rogues when it was allowed. you could probably get 20/minute or more with that many people following you. i believe i leveled til 35 on them.
5 mill XP per hour, totally insane. Grats man! :)
During the maraudaun run part you should have spare mage Rdy to take over right away with a new run while dead mage corpse runs
Impressive although this is, as this is not solo lvling, what stops a raid group from doing this and cutting the time down with outside dungeons?

this is just a dumb video and lame...i could beat this record in no time..but its about doing it solo.
Wouldn't it be faster to have a mage and warlock and 2 others people inside mara for one group and set up 4 other groups of just mages and the mage do a 500 pull in each of the 5 groups staggered in a way to have you go in the first group you got summoned and after the exp drop you swap to the other 4 instances in order of which mage is ready and then you get summoned to the next part every hour on the hour after level 31.

Is there any equivalent to the Troll Tribal Necklace turn-ins for Horde? Seems to be Alliance only.

You’ll need to have someone in the group with your lower level toon and in the same zone, but not close enough to steal xp
Why did you sit in the instance? You could just log/zone in before the mob kill phase.
because you need to be online when the mobs is being tagged in the instance to get xp/loot from the kill

Just a tip. You can use Myslot addon to copy/paste keybinds between characters, or back them up in a text file.

Hey - so I tried using this pull with a level 11 lock and finishing off with my 2nd account, hunter's pet but I'm seeing 3 times less xp per mob then on your video... what am I missing?
You need a third character in the party who is in the zone but not close to the party.
Did you know you get level 1-5 by simple summon to the silithus sands quest

Arlaeus just got him banhammered for grieving him. Being better than a streamer is ban-worthy you know.
He did it over the course of a couple weeks logging out inside the instances then back in before the kill. The assisted criteria is real time which is why I had to do it in 24 hours straight :)

He named the people who helped. A majority are from Onyxias Bakery(me included) and didn't do it because we watch him, we did it because one of our guildmates is friends with him and asked us to tag along. Didn't have anything to do with popularity in this case.

It sounds like you could skip from sm straight to troll necklace turn in, and skip mara and zf and mob tagging. Save multiple hours and have more lockouts for zg. Lots of room for improvement, but still. 24 hours for 60 levels. Nuts.
there is a weakaura addon for turning in coins, i stand there afk and handed them in lol

He mentions the 19 hours /played time guy at 3:13. I don't know why this record is different.
you mention that you died in ZF because blizzard removed one of the reset spots, but i have a very hard time believing that. i dont think blizzard have changed anything about ZF since classic launch. i think it's more likely that you either were not completely in the reset spot, or the human character model is different to what you are used to and you were still in the line of site for the shadow bolts. i just seriously doubt that blizzard for some reason decided to remove a reset spot from ZF but leave all the rest of them and change nothing else.
Hi. This doesnt work for me.. I have my hunter killing mobs for my alt, after getting tagged, not in group, and i get 8-10xp per kill :S why??
@@sou007 i figured out what was wrong, and how it is not so clear in this video. What you need to do is; the character that you are leveling MUST be in group with basically anyone in the same zone. So lets say you are in durotar. Just invite anyone in durotar, lvl doesnt matter, and just be in group with that person (preferrably have the person far away so u dont share the xp with him). Then you have the hunter out of the group killing the mobs for you. So the hunter can not be in your group, and its important that its only the pet doing the killing, otherwise u wont get xp.

this is great but trying to find someone even guildies from 2 diff guilds help out even if paying has been impossible. just get the response just lvl normally or just quest :(

Its technically both. He did 1-60 in one, non-stop, 24-hr stream, irl.
You could level from 40 to 60 with repetable quests so this is like 14 hours more than what it could be. Sure it costs 30-50k gold but it is doable. Surprised that nobody did that in classic.

That Bijou quest is how hardcore guilds are gonna lvl to 62 to 65. It should be fixed. Few thousand gold and you a instantly boosted when TBC hits.
Fearstreet did it in 21 hours using mostly the same strat didn't he?
