Hi Jason, Great tutorial. I am hoping to build a 1/32 WWI plane sometime next spring. I will be referring back to this for the materials you are using and your technique. Have a great day. Jeff

Thanks Jason! I admit I've always just used Easy-Line. But I haven't used anything like what you have from Bob's Buckles. I'll have to give this a go on my next aircraft rigging. Still not 100% certain one of my WnW kits will make it to the bench in 2024 (the 1/24 Airfix Typhoon is probably up next)...but perhaps...certainly by 2025.

Thank you Jason. Great video on this, I have started work on my Caudron. I have taken the same route re easy line coming to the conclusion it was like threading limp spaghetti especially on the return pass. Couple of things you did miss. Remember to breath and I find sticking the tip of my tongue helps as well!

Thanks Good Tutorial but it would have been nice to see you install the eye bolts

Fair point, you can see me doing that in the gotha build if you wish, but you simply drill a hole cut the shank to length and CA them in

Just a thought: modelkasten makes a rigging material that, in my opinion, is the perfect blend of the best parts of ezline and fishing line. And you don't have to deal with the sagging that frequently needs attention with fishing line. And the good news is it's more readily available on your side of the pond. They make two or three sizes, and the .013 size is perfect to fit twice through the .03 tubes from Bobs Buckles.

Very nice video Jason not sure if someone has asked you this yet but have you thought about doing a video for rigging ships?

Hi buddy, yes I have been, I need a ship to rig though so probably do it at some point during the Scharnhorst build

Microsurgery! 😆 Jase, you use 0.12mm fishing line, so what size is the brass tube you buy from Bob’s Buckles please?

Hi Jason just a bit of information, due to illness Bob's Buckles has suspended his operation at the moment. Best wishes Vic.

Thanks Jason for the great video on how to do rigging. In the near future i will be doing a few WW1 planes but in 1/72 so do you have any tips for that scale or can it be done like this video?

No it’s both to fiddly and also would be out of scale your best going with EZ line for 1/72. I did do a video on terminating EZ line it’s in the quick tips play list
