Doesn't it seem like the guy in the video implied the judge received some sort of financial benefit from the billionaire? But if the judge sold the house to the billionaire for a really low price it seems like the billionaire received a financial benefit from the judge. That doesn't seem to fit the "payoff" narrative that the guy in the video implies. Am I correct in that assumption?

Where I'm from, even if their best friend is celebrating a birthday party, Judges aren't supposed to attend. Or they attend when everyone is gone and it's just them and the celebrant.

He sold his house for $133,000. Less than market value. Many banks will buy an elderly person’s home on the cheap and allow the former owner to live there until death. Thomas’s mother is living there until she dies.

      @2thinkon it's reported Thomas didn't declare the property transactions or the hundreds of thousands in vacations that he and his wife were given... especially while he was dealing with this billionaire's Supreme Court cases. At the very least, Thomas should have recused himself. He didn't.

The payment on the house is an undisclosed gift of over $130 thou, and that's not the only payment on that ad he's paid thousands to renovate it, which could be over the original cost. I'm sure there's an idea of what it is, but you and i don't know, so it could be.
      Then, this same billionaire gave something like $500 thou to Thomas's wife's superpac, at least once and probably more, and she's pocketed most of the money. He's also paid for the corrupt couple to go on many lavish trips, and paid for even more. And those are just the things we know about.

    I would say that we should hold Supreme Court Justices to a higher standard… but Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett… I thought the jury was supposed to be a collection of my peers not the Supreme Court Justices. I used to hold those people in high regard, now I just think of them as Supreme Court Jesters.
    Makes the whole institution look pathetic.

All Thomas needs to do for Crow's trouble is to make court decisions in favor of Crow's interests before the court. I do not know what you do, but if you don't see this as a sweet deal for court decisions that affect the entire country leaned on by a republiQan billionaire, then ask someone in person to explain corruption so you can ask questions as it's explained.
