I love Yngwie's playing. He is an inspiration. It's been years. What a sound, from the beginning with Alcatrazz, in 1983. And Marching Out is a masterpiece album, with many good pieces including Blackstar, that reminds me of a viking ship sailing in the darkest of the night.

@UnderPeruvianSky Bach would find his simple endless baroque cliches tiresome. Just because you can play a little baroque riffs and butcher Bach doesn't mean you compare to Bach in any way.
My favorite guitarist of ALL TIME!🔥 Many have come and gone but there's only one Yngwie J. Malmsteen - the shred god maestro, speed, feeling and emotion ALL in one, you really can feel it.🤘
Visually, sounds become five strobe lights, all at different intervals, in a hall of mirrors. Despite limitless skill, how long until it is not processable or enjoyed. Baroque is polyrhythmic, fluid and ethereal. Do that.
When it comes to song writing, sometimes less is better. It lends to the dynamics. That’s why the general public only know ywenva 😂for his fast, 10,000 notes and no one knows his songs. Boring
Question to the RUclips Channel: Was this "copyright claimed & threatened to be taken down" yet?🤔 I adore Maestro Yngwie's guitar skills🎶🎸 I took my son to a concert...& Yngwie was his first REAL concert🎶😎👆 My footage of my son enjoying the show entirely was "copyright struck"🤔🙄😒

Yngwie might not be super versatile player but he's baroque style, classic influence and heavy skillful riffs makes him totally unique. No one incorporate it like him. Love it.
Yngwie's solo in Vengeance is one of the best works of guitar ever and changed my life when I first heard it as a kid and his playing influences me till today

God that's so cool how his neck is scalloped. I bet that's one smooth playing Strat. The feel would prolly be so weird at first. I always wanted to try it on one of my guitars, just never had the balls to do it for fear of jacking up the neck...
Yngwie looks to be about 50 pounds lighter , damn good for him , glad to see him look after his health. Love his playing and this should help him a lot , weight effects everything.
I never understood why Yngwie never fingerpicked on his acoustic solos and songs....ive seen him live many times through the years...in his prime, he was untouchable
I saw a video of Zakk Wylde & Yngwie playing together, what an epic moment that was! It looked like two big Vikings who traded in their weapons for guitars & slayed through metal vs battle! Both these guys are monsters lol! Can you imagine how intimidating it would be to see them walking down the street lol!?
One leads to the other. No Hendrix no Malmsteen. Hendrix wrote the book on the electric guitar. Malmsteen expanded it. People would be playing like Chuck Berry without Hendrix. Shredders always underestimate him and Blackmore is straight up Proto- Malmsteen. The man did invent sweep picking and first started combining classical and rock music. Early on YJM's Rising Force was sometimes accused of just being a revamped Rainbow, which I strongly disagree with however the similarity is there. Blackmore took more from medieval music Malmsteen is Baroque through and through. Almost all his licks are Bach, Paganini or Vivaldi. I agree that Clapton is totally overrated. He also became a huge racist after Hendrix made him almost quit by playing way way waaaay better. Dunno why you would want your blues from Clapton when there is Albert King, BB, SRV later etc... Page is a fantastic musician even if he's not the cleanest live player. But listen to Since I've been loving you and tell that's not one of the tastiest lead parts ever performed. I think out of all previously mentioned Blackmore and Malmsteen are the best songwriters. Both of them wrote songs, riffs and lead parts that will be remembered forever. Child in Time, Fireball, Stargazer, All I want is Everything, Rising Force etc... the electric guitar is new. There was no handbook, no correct way of playing, no tradition of combining genres no guidance on how to hold a pick or alternate vs economy picking. They just made it up as they went along taking from the last generation and inspiring the next to do even better. No Les Paul or Albert King, means no Hendrix, no Hendrix means music as we know it, heavily distorted guitar sound, shredding all that didn't exist. People thought Johnny B Goode is the most impressive thing that can be done on guitar. Then Hendrix made everyone realise they could barely play and everyone sat down and relearnt the instrument properly and all those guys, be it Page Clapton, Beck, Blackmore etc... went on to develop the instrument and inspire Yngwie, who in turn again taught everyone they can barely play (Eddie too) and that culminated in 80s shredder music. Which I love. No Yngwie no George Lynch either. But no Hendrix no, Yngwie, no Blackmore. We stand on the shoulders of giants, Yngwie is no different
I love both how Yngwie look the same as when he was 16 years old with smile on face and heart somewhere over the rainbot + how guitar tech screwed cable hanging from acoustic guitar.

From the badges on the guitars, I think yngwie likes Ferraris!
, Yes, he is a big fan of the Ferrari brand. He has been to the Ferrari factory in Maranello several times
He's good, but Nuno and Jimi Bell are better!
He beats himself frequently these days. I bet he's got a Ferrari for sale.
