He must be losing his testosterone bless his heart. He will always be #1 forever though. No one will ever touch his style and feeling. Paul Gilbert is the cleaner, faster player now, but Yngwie deserves an off night. He is God
Thanks for the video Sammy. I remember listening to Yngwie when he was with Alcatraz years ago. This by no means is a comparison between the two but like Elvis he changed music forever. He influenced music listeners as well as guitarists. He was a major influence to Jeff Loomis and if you've never heard of him I suggest Googling Jeff Loomis and Jato unit. EMG pickups have their own channel on RUclips simply called EMG TV.
Took him a second to settle in but once he stopped being flashy and playing w his hair it got real... I love yngwie and his music is epic and truly timeless. He is a master and will likely be forgotten because his niche is so unpopular in the mainstream. Its true he is not as clean as he used to be but it doesn't take away from his genius or originality. Yngwie is responsible for a majority of the shred wave from the 80s so at this point its just postscript

He will still six string sweep a one stringed guitar
Boring for ten years...
Seeing him Aug 14. 9 hour round trip but gonnabe worth it for sure
~WOW,.

While You're Ahead, Because, Everyone Always Talks
About Your Poor Performances, Be It In Boxing/Guitar
I know the keyboard player. He is a great player and vocalist, too.
Impressive technique and one of the pioneeers and he still active..if u see richard blackmore .he was the real pioneer , pkayed dirthy even before hendrix and invented the techniques..now he play like a beginner due his age..sad...and he didnt use so many effects...this is annoying and covers unclean playing..sounds more fast then it is...kisten to matteo..he plays now better than malmsteen..but its more easy for young gitarist they cam learn easy from manysoirces..and the guitars and effects far better. Easy to play the fret..flat..if u play on a strat fast..not easy...like on a ibanez joe satriani..as the fret isnt that flat
SAME OL BS!
Boring. Can’t name one iconic riff from this guy. They are all the same tired old shredding of scales.
Buzz of hater/Troll what are you doing seeking out his videos? Jealousy is not a good look man!
@@babaali4410 less is more - Keith Richards!!!!
A simple blues song is more original than his shredding scales! Same shit i every song.
@@JokerM6 Says who you? LOL millions love Yngwie Malmsteen still selling last album straight into the billboard charts at 89! My advice to you stop seeking out his videos because you look like a jealous troll
Amazing. How he's able to catch note for note I'll never understand
Practice.
6-8 hours of daily practice and continuity in learning progression of academic level knowledge. Of course, specific talent and devotion.
The man himself said that he would sleep and wake up with the guitar next to him. Total dedication to his instrument
He got a lil sloppy there for about 10 seconds with other strings rattling during speed picking, and then his picking hand and left hand weren't quite the perfect Malmsteen I'm used to hearing.
5:37
5:58
6:22
6:30 to 6:55 or so.. the tequila hit him.
He must be losing his testosterone bless his heart. He will always be #1 forever though. No one will ever touch his style and feeling. Paul Gilbert is the cleaner, faster player now, but Yngwie deserves an off night. He is God
Damn!
What do yall think 80s yngwie would have thought of 2023 yngwies performance of this tune?
At 5:00 he goes and adjusts the only Marshall that is turned on in that skyline of amps.
His music stood by the test of time
Awesome love this song he's always shredding great songs
Took him a second to settle in but once he stopped being flashy and playing w his hair it got real... I love yngwie and his music is epic and truly timeless. He is a master and will likely be forgotten because his niche is so unpopular in the mainstream. Its true he is not as clean as he used to be but it doesn't take away from his genius or originality. Yngwie is responsible for a majority of the shred wave from the 80s so at this point its just postscript
Magic Yngwie ⭐🖤Thanks🙏🙏🙏
incredible guitar playing, but you have to be into that style of playing. i can only listen to it for 5 minutes and then im bored because it all sounds the same to me. No disrespect, its just my opinion
I like yngwie, but I think he should stay away from the nylon string... at least not trying to play fast on it, that never sounded great in my opinion.
Great player over the top, sometimes gets a bit boring nevertheless the man,can play get on abit now wish he'd come up,to date with the dress sense those days are far gone but that's all up to him living in the past sorry
Does anyone know which song the part between 2:00 and 2:45 is? It seems quite familiar to me.
Awesome guitar player, but damn, why does he piss so much from his speed?
3:17 Song title please ?
Prelude to april
I love his clown eyebrows! Super awesome!
Bro is almost 60 and still gots it. Sounds great.
LOL
@@AlbertoJorgeSoares I still cannot play as well as Yngwie but I can Sharpie my eyebrows better than him!
Always cool to see live!!
Especially when They play black star ¡!
Bravo !! Electric guitar metal has progressed ! And the amplifiers set up ! Impressive !
