Ray's advice could turn out to be very bad for Debrincat. Bad things could happen during this season. He could have the worst scoring year of his life. He could get an injury limiting him to playing only half a year. Who knows? If he signs a contract with a new team this summer, it could turn out to be the best decision of his life. Nobody knows what happens during the next year. Advising someone to not sign anything now and to "wait 1 year and it will be better next year I promise" is unsafe advice to be handing out.
Leafs are better Bertuzzi is a great player very good at puck retrieving and moving the puck in tight spaces … Reeves won’t play in big games ….Domi is a great bottom 6 forward …. They will likely have to move Nylander because they won’t be able to sign him
