"Tie Your Mother Down" is a song by the British rock band Queen. It is featured on their fifth studio album, 'A Day At The Races, ' which was released in 1976. The song was written by Brian May and produced by Queen. It was later released as the album's second single in 1977.

Brian wrote this song while he was working on his PhD in Tenerife. I really love how fun this song is. The white outfits were Freddie's idea because he thought that the band didn't stand out well enough in their signature black. Freddie was all about the outfits back in those days.
Great song, especially Live! It's definitely tongue in cheek and the story is pretty obvious. Part of Queen's attraction is their sense of humor. Love your reactions!😍

I think this a real rocker..but this version was a little slower than normal..I would suggest Live Montreal 81’, or Live Wembley 86’..both are FIRE❤..Thanks for your great reaction❤
