Queen music many times, flies above people's head, you have really good insight. Queen songs are a thinking man and women's music, there is more to it than the surface level.

Brian May has spoken openly about his battles with depression and I believe some of his songs are about that. "The Night Comes Down" refers to sinking into the darkness of depression just as his song "Back to the Light"refers to emerging from a dark period of depression back into the "light" of being able to feel happy again.

Nice reaction. I liked your thoughts about Brian's more emotive writing style. I especially found the expression "solemn awkwardness" a good description here. I loved all the parts; the musicianship was there but the whole seemed not quite stitched together.

Nice reaction! This is definitely very Beatles like. In fact "Lucy was high", refers to Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. I agree with your assessment. This is somewhat of a transition, when you listen to the album it works and flows really well. I like the song, but this is perhaps my least favourite on the album, not that I mean it is bad, I really like this album.

All ways a message in all of Queens songs

Very Beatles-esq The end leads directly into modern times rock and roll - hence the abrupt end. You’ll have to listen to 2 or 3 songs in a row especially in the first few albums

You went pretty obscure here. Totally respecting that. Queen made a lot of garbage but had a lot of lesser-known gems like this one. You describe things well also. And I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way but I'm kind of surprised that a younger black dude (or any black dude, lol) likes queen songs, much less tangible ones like this one. So again, this is all very charming.

Honestly I forgot about this song. It's probably the least standout on the album. Nice but not special or really memorable.

Its a great song guy, Love this song, but Freddie didnt think like you/ or me, Lucy is a reference to Lucifer, the bringer of light, The night comes down and hes losing his way? Guy his way s the light Lucifer, he admitted on camera, on RUclips, somewhere - he thought hell would be more ineresting than heaven, Freddie was great - but who was he serving ?

Don't be ridiculous, you could not mean that serious! You took that interview completely out of context! I think you didn't understand Freddie's kind of humor at all.
