Reminder: Facebook App disabled viewing videos over 1080p. You can only view higher quality videos like 4k or 1440p using your phone's browser on desktop mode or on your computer. 😄

Hello, should 4K upload work from desktop computer using Firefox? Or using mobile with Chrome is a must? Wondering because my 4K videos keep being 720p on Facebook.
One thing is most people watch from their phone now. It’s legit but a lot of people still seeing it in 720p . The only way is use software app that can edit videos to at lease 1080p and still doable in edit.
Even if I have 5K footage Facebook will post in low res first .. and of course viewers are lost even if they have the option to choose HD no one really thinks of this.. so How to make it get posted in 5K directly

Why didn’t you export a 4K file out of your editor? I’m confused why you had to use the VN app to create a 4K file.
Hi, i tried doing this in my chrome browser for ios. It only gives the option to watch in sd or hd. Even after 30mins its still the same. I exported my video to 4k 30fps and 50bit rate. File size 600mb
Same. Only 720p & 1080p in the app.
No method yet has given 480,320,240p...besides those ads you see.
Same here. Just recently trying to post a 4K(30sec) video but Fb wont's play it in 4k even after 18hrs. I wander what's the best way of doing it. (I'm using a MacBook Pro laptop)

Well you get these resolutions in the browser...i have "only" gotten options 720 & 1080p in the mobile app using this method.
It would be nice to see viewers choose 240p, 480p, to save data....increase the number of happy viewers.
I have all options available on mine both on the browser and the facebook mobile app. 😄
Must be the vlog now app causing issues after all the trouble shooting...hmm.
I did not set it to max bit rate.
Everything else is good.
Honestly facebook mobile on my end seems broken lately.

We shouldn't do all this at all.... FB sucks with this. You can have a 4k video and they will process to 360p -____- /// Thanks 4 the video tho
Is this still working? I tried and after 10 mins my video still at 720p.
It's going to take longer to process, sometimes it can takes between 1 and several hours to process, especially if it's 4k depending on the length of the video.
Can you upload 60fps videos on Facebook with this??

I can't install vn editor in playstore don't know whats wrong any other editor to.use pls
Unfortunately, I don't know any other video editors similar to VN where we can manually adjust the bitrate when we export the video..
Try clearing the data and cache of the playstore on the phone's settings --> application --> playstore then install VN editor again. :)

It doesn't work if you export it in 1080p60fps and after I try in 4k/60fps it work just wait 30min or an hour...and also it depends on your wifi...

Hi! Sorry I forgot to get back but it's still working. The idea is it takes days(not sure if hours or not but based on my experience) first before the 4K res takes effect in fb.
