Love, love, love this series! Thank you! I have aging skin, combo w/ an oily t-zone. Some sagging at the jawline, fine lines around the eye area, and pronounced pores in the cheek area. Budget around $250.
I had acne in my 20s on... get this... dry skin. Yeah, all the OTC stuff did terrible things to my skin and so the derm actually prescribed me hydrating things and moisturizers and put my medication into a creamy formulation. Acne? I would go see a derm, after all it could potentially leave scars.
I use Tazarotene some nights and Ordinary retinols on others. The Tazarotene makes a difference but the flaking and peeling is rough, no matter what I do. I’m scaly and oily at the same time 🤦♀️ Any tips to combat this?
If you ever do a video like this again, can I tell you my skintype over here? So I'm 35, oily skin but not that acne prone anymore like it used to. I'm starting to get some fine lines and wrinkles. My skin is also pretty sensitive (I think, it gets red pretty easily. Not necessarily from products, more so from touch, heat, or for example when I'm working out my face gets bright red) Atm I use a salicylic face wash, a niacinamide serum and a basic moisturizer. It works pretty well for me but I feel like I need something more anti aging now that I'm getting older. I also struggle to find a spf that doesn't make me feel oily.
Try the beauty of Joseon or lagom spf they are k beauty are very good for oily skin. I’ve linked them in some of my latest videos but are widely available online. Feels just like a moisturizer. I would say it’s time to start retinol. I just did a video on how to start you can check out to see my recommendations for starting out. This will help your fine lines and wrinkles.
@@KennaWhitnell omg thank you so much! I'll definitely gonna try to find that spf! I live in Belgium and not everything is available over here! Watching the retinol video right now :) thank youuuu
I recently started looking into skincare and what I should be using. My skin is dry and I have wrinkles. That's all I know haha. Anyways I got a Tatcha rice wash and Dew cream moisturizer sample from Sephora. I noticed a huge difference. My face feels soft, smooth and stays hydrated with just those two products. I purchased the rice wash and held off the moisturizer because it's pretty expensive. Anyways I'm curious what your opinion on the Tatcha skincare products 🙂
@@ladamita_exe no don’t think so. I’ve tried a few and also randomly products broke me out and I didn’t realize why until I checked the ingredient list. It’s a B vitamin and orally they also break me out (biotin)
I would LOVE a video on what you can use to control acne and texture while pregnant/breastfeeding! It’s so much harder to find things you can use. 😔
Ohh I will cover this!! Look out for this video either Thursday or Monday! Great question :)
@@KennaWhitnell :D Thank you! I will! Love your content! ❤️❤️❤️
It sounds like panthenol is a good ingredient to look out for
Thanks for video!

Yes please more like these! I’m super oily, have redness and texture. Any recommendations?
What's your recommendation for a goose face?
Can you test out the new Farsali all in one multi-tasking miracle serum please ??? It will be available for order soon.

I also tried the tatcha samples from Sephora! I absolutely loved it. If I was going to splurge on some $$$ skincare I would go for tatcha
@@KennaWhitnell Awesome! Thank you for replying. I just might need to splurge and get more of the line 😄 ❤
Niacinimide makes me break out like crazy! Am I alone here?
Maybe is other ingredient in the product 👀
