🗣️🗣️LOC CRUSH 🥰😍 I've followed YOU for my own DIY journey ❤️ I installed braid locs.... it's been 2yrs for me as of April😊 Love the growth sis.. I'm sure you inspired MANY of us💋
I've watched you from the beginning - your locks are absolutely beautiful! You inspired me and now I am 18 months in! It's such an exciting process! Thanks again for sharing!
Your locks look soooo good and healthy! Those parts are still just as crisp as they were when you first did them. I’m impressed that you still do your own retires. My daughter is at a little over 2 years and she hasn’t been able to retie her whole head on her own yet. I started her off with 541 2-strand twists. Great job on taking care of yours!
Girl, congrats on making it to 3 years with those beautiful locs!!! I've followed you from day one, and I can't believe so much time has passed since you installed them. The thing is they look better every time I see them!! Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous🤩🤩🤩🥰🌺🌹
I'm on my 4th set. You and Kendra are such an inspiration. Your locs are absolutely gorgeous. Hands down one of the BEST diys I have ever seen. OK.... Now let me get started. Take care😊
I've been following since your install video. You look amazing, your locs too!🎉🎉🎉 glycerin, rose water, distilled water and essential oils is my go to. 🔥🔥🔥
Just binged watched all of your loc journey playlist!! I was originally just looking for a parting tutorial for microlocs and found you!!! Love the journey! And that loc bun...huney!!! Yes grown up messy bun!! Love it!!! Now to convince my mom to help with the parting, because girl I can't even make a straight ponytail!!!
Love your locs❤ I'm 1 month in. I did mine after watching your loc install videos. I only use water also. I honestly don't touch mine a lot. Also, I love the curly ends. I plan to keep my ends curly.
Happy locaversary!!! I love love love your locs. I’ve been following your journey for about two years now and your the reason I started my own loc journey. I just hit my one year lovaversary on March 31st and I love my locs!!! Thank you for sharing with us! ❤
Your hair looks amazing and there are so many of us that are thankful you documented your establishment and monthly journey. I took my first set down but my current set will be a year old on June 1st. Thank you again and I hope all is well!
Beautiful!!! Absolutely the BEST set of locs I’ve seen ( both DIY or by a loctician). How often are you asked if you are taking clients? Your hair is so healthy! 👍🏾
Your locs are so neat and immaculate. DIY for the win. As far as the sealed.unsealed ends its not necessarily a repair or something to be corrected. Its dependent upon your curl pattern. Some peoples ends ( mine inlcuded never seal) The back of my hair that is kinkier sealed but majority fo my ends are curly and unopened 6 years in
They are fire 🔥! Over 8-months microlocd but edges very thin in tbe front so dont wear my hair up without a headband. 😢 Hopefully soon they will come in thicker so i can get more added! Best decision ever!! 👏🏾
I just finished watching all your install videos and your logs have matured beautifully. I've definitely made up my mind on doing microlocs but the install method is challenging to decide. While two strand twists are less complicated and take less time than interlocks, I am a very active person and from my research interlocking is best for active people. Arghh... If I could afford it, I would get them done by a loctician. You give me hope that maybe I can interlock my own hair.
Gorgeous, I watched you doing your install and check in to watch your progress. I greatly appreciate your transparency on your journey... Stay Blessed❣❣
Part of the reason why I cut was because my ends got super fat. It was hard to pull the loc through my roots and I didn't want to continue ripping the fat ends through the small root. I tried to crochet the ends to make them solid but I noticed after a while they still bunched and swelled.😅 so I just cut them that was about a year and a half ago and they are half curly and have solid but smaller now and my roots feel fuller
I followed you when you first started your journey and decided to start mine. I combed them about in 2021 and now about to start again. Your locs are AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!
Your ends are locking not bunching. You can use a 0.5 mm 3 pronged crochet hook to tighten your ends or just leave them alone. Try doing some heatless curls, so easy to sleep on. “Dark and lovely” demonstrates how to use just your own loc’s to make voluminous waves & curls. Your hair looks amazing!🎉
This is the comment I’ve been looking for. I am 1 year behind her and used her techno and my ends are e same exact way. I figured why my ends were trying to encapsulate and loc. thank you!
Luv ur locs parts are on point, im in my 2nd year anniversary loc, I was thinking about taking mines down but after watching your video and another loc person im going to keep mines.
Absolutely gorgeous!Your loc journey is so inspiring. I am starting mine on 8/12 and can hardly wait to enjoy the freedom. Thank you for sharing your experience!!😊
Happy 3rd Locaversary! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🎂🎉🌹🥰 I've been with you since Day 1! our locs look Fantastic! My 3rd Locaversary in in June! I still use The Sauve Clarifiying shampoo too!
It's gotten so long! Wow ❤ we started around the same time. Like a week after you. Mine would be around your length if I didn't cut bangs and such lol 😆 So beautiful. ❤
Tay, your locs are beautiful. I have the exact 4b type hair that you do; in our loose natural state, our hair looks like cotton. I'm about to start my loc journey at 52 yrs old and it's nice to see what my hair will look like once I reach your stage. GORGEOUS! 💓
Thank you for sharing this video. It was very detailing about your journey of your microloc's. I'm in the process of getting my hair done in a 1week with microloc's as well. Watching your video made me more excited and anxious about my journey with my hair. I absolutely love your size an length. So Thank you!! 👍👍😘😘
You don't need any repair. Your ends will loc..im 4 and a 1/2 years in, and my ends are still locking, but they are getting there. I think it's just a hair texture thing...
Love your locs lady!! Excellent job! I do have a question. How do you get your edges so crisp and neat?!?! They look like they're braided they're so neat!
Your hair is gorgeous and doing very well. I used you (grid method) to self install my locs. I started with two strand twist tho and kinda wish I would have just started with interlocks like you did. But I still love mine, they still look great and fully locked now (some ends still curly) It has been two years for me and they are the length of yours. Have you tried ACV, lemon juice baking soda soak to help remove build up?? It worked for me. It got all this little pieces stuck in the locs out. You could try it. I saw a few people doing it on RUclips and decided to try it a few days ago and it worked. I did two 20 min. soaks.
Wow you did an amazing job the perfection they are perfect you don’t need to go to a loc tension no ma’am your a Loc - tension I would love for you to do my locs because wow
Absolutely gorgeous look at the growth 👏🏾👏🏾 grid on point still wow 🤩.. I’m 2 month braidloc and it’s a beautiful journey for me 🤗 341 braids, I’m so ❤ my hair. The best oil to use is Melanin Hair Care ALL her products are the 💣.. the oil can be used on body as well the key is non~greasy 😊 and alittle goes along way 😉 using since products launched 2018
You have the cleanest locs on the entire internet, Idc what anyone else says😅
We all agree. They are nicer than a lot of professional locticians’ work.
All I can say is WOW... your hair is gorgeous
