Option 5: Blow a tire at 65mph sending you into the guard rail, since your Toyota isn't safe, you die in the hospital from your injury's. Option 6: Realize that Detroit fell because of Japanese car brands. this is honestly the stupidest review ive ever seen... i completely understand your point about retaking the shots and they made it obvious but the whole bedliner comment is retarded, i know a lot of people including relatives who own these trucks without bedliners and it doesnt matter either way because its a bed strength test, not a bed liner test and they did a good job of showing that. what they tested was 100% accurate though if you look at tensile and yeild strength of the 2 compared materials, aluminum is not a good metal for the job of a truck, im a military engineer (btw the whole "military grade aluminum" thing is a honk of shit) and also previously a welder and studied metallurgy...
I had a 2017 Chevy and it felt so cheaply made that I gave it back and went back to my 2002 Ford F-350 and I was actually happier with it even though I missed the heated seats haha

I just want to see what they will say when they switch over lol. that being said, it's not the EPA making them, it's the fact that you can "legally" load more on a truck that weighs less. in the F150's case, it saved 800lbs so that means the user can now load 800lbs more and still be within spec. the gains of using aluminum wasn't MPGs (they were negligible in comparison to the old steel bodies) manufacturing costs (since aluminum costs more) its all in the name of a more user friendly work truck
its not really stupid though, a lot of ppl buy trucks to not just pull there boat and drive around. most ppl buy it for work and bed liners cost more, so most ppl don't buy it with the truck because when they get a work truck they buy the cheapest one cause they know there gonna beat it to shit. and if ur throwing demo stuff in the back u don't want that cat close enough to hit the side wall of the truck. u obviously have never driven a bob cat ether or you would know they aren't the most easy thing to drive.
Oh pleeeaaaassssss Chevy! Inspite of your commercials you just have to beat Ram and Toyota Tundra before you can get to Ford. You should spend your time in proper marketing and convince me in the process on why I should buy your truck and not to spend your resources trying to discredit Ford. Have you noticed the difference between between your commercials and Ford's?

Thank you to everybody who watched this video! I remember being amazed whenever it passed a few hundred and now it's over 700,000! I can't even tell you how insane that is to me. While I have you here reading this, I wanted to address some of the more common comments I've read on this video. Cool? Cool. 1. "This guy is biased toward ford" I am in no way biased to anybody. I drive a 03 Corolla (with manual windows, non-leather seating, cassette player... basically the works) and know nothing about trucks. This is nothing but a comedy video. It was in no way created to degrade chevy or their trucks, just the commercial. This is something I do with a lot of commercials, not just this one. 2. ALUMINUM PRONUNCIATION! Goodness! [good-nis] I must've read 200 comments telling me my joke was off. I understand that "aluminum" is pronounced differently in different places around the world. I was aware of this before I posted the video. It was just a joke. At the time I posted this video I had around 20 subscribers and they were all my friends from America. I thought everybody who watched the video would've been from America and they would've just laughed and not taken it too seriously as it is just a comedy video. A bit of a joke about how different cultures pronounce things differently and how Americans tend to always think we're right. Sort of a self-aware meta joke if you wanna look into it that much. Sorry for not being 100% accurate on that. 3. A bunch of truck mumbo jumbo. Again, I'm not a truck guy but after reading some of these comments I feel as if I'm qualified to be a Chevy salesman. Some people sure are passionate about trucks. 4. And finally, loads of great and encouraging comments! These mean the world to me. It really is a special feeling knowing that thousands of people have laughed or at least enjoyed my video. Thank you to you all!
How has nobody noticed how the toolbox bounces around a lot in the Chevy (as if it were empty) compared to when it hit the Ford (looking like it had weight inside)? Rewind it and watch closely with both trucks and you can see the tool box bounces around a lot more when its dropped into the Chevy.....just saying.
It could be that since the aluminum dented and actually got a hole put through it, it absorbed more of the impact, making it not bounce as much, compared to the steel that didn't absorb it as good.
theAman67 I'm talking after the initial impact and the box is bouncing around in the beds. Regardless of how the initial impact happens...the box is bouncing around in the Chevy like an empty box would...unlike how it acts in the Ford. Regardless...this "demonstration" doesn't show me anything other than how clever and deceiving companies can be...and how easy it is to hide truths with quick film tricks. You can easily cut through any truck bed regardless if its steel or aluminum under the right circumstances. I guarantee if someone that was unbiased did an exact demonstration dropping the boxes into the trucks in a controlled IDENTICAL fashion (not in the random fashion Chevy did) the trucks would most likely perform almost identically.
I bought the 2016 F150 because of its quality, ratings and reviews. I'm a first time truck buyer and have owned 36 sports cars, SUV's and motorcycles. Trucks just never appealed to me in the past but the new F150 looks great and the quality seems much higher than a Chevy. When I saw this commercial I though Chevy was trying to prove their truck customers have no intelligence. I'm sure the Chevy is also better at breaking down, losing its value and rusting out. I guess Chevy doesn't see those issues as a priority.
BigAssBoy Gaming Don't worry about what these other people are saying, I read your comments and yes, you are stupid and looking at your picture, you are also a gay fat boy. I hope this pep talked helped.
Okay, Chevy can compare the bed test to the new aluminum F150, but the F150 was the only truck this year to pass the crash tests... To me, that's more valuable than a bed that doesnt have a liner
Dude this kid is awesome I love this guy. he's super observant and witty. this video was really well made and legitimately made me laugh and smile. first channel I've actually subscribed to in years.
I have a cousin who was driving his new F-150 and he hit the side of a (those side bar things that protect you from going off the road) and the side of the truck was so badly damaged that he had to get a new truck. He got a Ram.
Lets be real, i'm a girl, I drive a 2015 Ford F-150 and I would NEVER do any of those things that were tested on that commercial, so I'm not worried about making holes lol
jdr ok because I use it when carrying certain things that I can't carry in a car, plus they last longer than cars, they're more spacious and safer... plus I fell in love with this truck so that's just my taste
jdr ok I also drive an f-150 people talk about ford all the time but until you have my truck you can't talk. Trucks are made to haul and tow not beat up any vehicle would not last to certain test.
Why are they comparing the beds of the truck? Why don't they compare engines or handling? I'll tell you why they don't, it's because Ford is superior in every single category. (However Chevy is superior when comparing mindlessly throwing shit in your truck)
RUclips Cancer that’s actually false. TFL Truck showed that the 6.2 V8 got better gas mileage than the 3.5 eco boost and better acceleration in there testing. My buddy had a 2.7 Exoboost and the turbos went out on it already. Absolute shit.
Cactus Jones but also notice it's different people as in the three takes Alex was talking about in the video also it was three different sets of people
Alex Wroblewski I'm wanting to start my own review channel.. (new subscriber by the way)...can you tell me how you usually go about doing this( equipment i need to get started, programs, etc)? pretend like I'm a brand new start up...cuz I am. lol
I agree man! I've got an '81 F150 in original condition that I love! It runs strong, but it looks like it should be in a junkyard, though. The curb side is completely mangled from where it was t boned when the original owner had it, and the back bumper is mashed down. But I tell you what, it is a fine work truck.
Neither of those trucks were 70k. They were more than likely in the mid 40s. You have to get a diesel F350/3500HD with a high end trim package to make the 70k mark.
Yeah i work for Ford and we have a test patch of a ford and a chevy bed hit with the same force and made the same size dimple. The aluminum is thicker to compensate for strength, yet is still lighter than steel.
Bryan Estep holy crap I just looked it up and I'm wrong lol..I've always spelled it alminium because it's typically used like that for building products and scientific purposes
Also the hole in the ford from the tool box looks the same as the hole from the bricks:)......FORD IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dad has a Ford F-350 aluminum bed and it has held up for almost 2 years now tested against 500 pound generators, deer,Yeti coolers, rocks,KEYS,amps, everything pretty tough if you ask me
GM is disparate because they don't have the best selling trucks like Ford F Seres that is thirty nine year running. If there wasn't Ford I'd be driving Dodge .
Richard Koehler you would go from " High Grade Military Aluminum" To recycled plastic polymer body panels? Hell who wants a truck made from Steel anymore what am i thinking lol😒
Richard Koehler If you combine GMC and Chevy together, far more are sold and more are still on the road compared to Ford. If Chevy sold their trucks for the same price of Ford, the government and businesses would by more Chevy's. Ford produces a cheaper product.
by $2000 At work truck bare bones price.. If they where that much better it would be a NO BRAINIER FOR ANY CEO TO BY CHEVY INSTEAD. grow up. Oh ya and by the way combined they beat the f150 by 18k trucks (2015 sales 2016 isint over yet :D ).. color me impressed that two companies beat one.. by a sad amount mind you.. WOW.. nice work high five. Do you think or look things up before you post dumb shit?
Ford is far more superior then GMC and Chevy which it the same truck and now Ford won't rust.Ford F series out sales all the brands combined.do your home work . I been driving Ford and GM long before you took you First breath. Oh did I mention that GMC is built in Mexico. All of Ford truck are built in the USA . 80 percent of Ford car are that are sold in the USA are built in the USA last time I checked all of Ford high breads and Electric cars are built the USA no one else can claim that except Tesla . I'm done wasting my time on you videos because really any buddy with a brain wouldn't waste their time.
Im a Chevy man no doubt. But this commercial is shit. Yes the fords best is softer, by its metal make up. BUT the toolbox did puncture the chevy bed on first drop. Along with in my opinion atleast; he seemed to literally throw the box at the fords bed, but then barely touched the box to make it fall into the chevy. If your going to throw stuff like this into your brand new truck bed WITHOUT using Line-x or some other bed liner, expect to ruin it regardless.
A much better test would be aluminum vs steel beds with bed liner. Because I'd never use my truck unless it had a bedliner. If they could prove that even with a bedliner the steel is significantly more durable, my opinion would be different. But I don't think it would matter much, certainly not enough of a difference to outweigh the weight savings of aluminum
We also use the highly inconvenient, unintuitive U.S. Customary System. 12 inches in a foot, 3 feet in a yard, 5280 feet in a mile, 231 inches cubed in a gallon, 25036.9 lbm*ft^2/s^2 per Btu, water (at 1 atm) freezes at 32 deg. F and boils at 212 deg. F. WHAT. THE. HELL. In 1999, NASA's $125 million Mars Climate Orbiter burned up in Mars' atmosphere because NASA assumed Newtons of thrust, but Lockheed Martin had it in pounds-force. (But to be fair, aluminum is not spelled "aluminium" in America. Nor is color spelled "colour," behavior as "behaviour", etc.) Shaking my head... the USCS is a plague to humanity. Cherish the logical, intuitive metric system.
BassGuitarGuy128 "Plague to humanity" you're pretty fucking stupid aren't you? Also the mars climate orbiter incident wasn't caused by a faulty measuring system it, was 100% human error so I don't see how thats relevant to your argument. Get your panties unwadded kid, comparing measurement systems is like comparing languages, they are different but they preform the same task. The only reason you feel this way is because the metric system is more popular and has more rounded measurements which is pretty fucking stupid if you ask me.
This whole commercial is a joke and here's why: You have to "upgrade" to get a steel bed from Chevy and you have to "downgrade" to get the aluminum bed from Ford. Basically they intentionally compare beds to their advantage. Why not compare the aluminum beds from both brands? Or the steel beds? I mean I can compare two houses, one with a second floor and one without. And then I make a commercial that says: "Well this here house doesn't have a second floor. Buy ours instead."
Why the hell do companies still do this "real people, not actors" thing? It's so transparent and obnoxious! Also the green screen use was spot on. Good job. lol
The holes in the bed of the Ford almost look like they were generated by an axe of some sort, and the toolbox used on the Ford did not seem like it was "empty"! It barely had any rebound and more or less fell to a halt whereas the one in the Chevy bounced around as an empty box should! Also I don't know if it was just me, but it appeared as if the hole"s" made in the Ford by the toolbox were not the same! If you look, it is small and clean when it is first made, but then on a closer look it differs in shape and size and has red paint (which wouldn't have come off an empty toolbox like that) rubbed on! Tons of giveaways!
Personality I'm a Chevy van , but the reason I did not get offended was because you should proof and because you put the one thing no other RUclipsr does , you put don't watch if you get offended . You my friend know your stuff and to that I say your smart young man . And thank you for putting that at the beginning of your video . Keep it up brother .👍
I like Ford but chevy totally failed to show the downsides of their truck like worse fuel economy because of more weight from the Steele no to mention more weight on the suspension and tires so they will all wear out faster
Actually it doesn't. See the people who drive Chevy vehicles are actually educated past middle school, because they didn't grow up on a farm helping pigs fuck each other. These people are aware that a thing exists called a shadow. When you cause a dent, it causes a shadow unless you have a spotlight directly overhead aiming straight at the dent. the more you know!
The only thing that I see wrong with your review is that you did not look at the height of the buckets on the Bobcats. when they dumped the bricks, the one on the Ford is at least two to three feet higher. It may not look like much but I have brutalized some vehicles in my day.
That is just because the Ford, which is built to handle uneven terrain such as what would be found on a construction site sits higher than the GM product which is best suited to paved roads. Kidding! but the Ford bed height I believe is actually higher, not sure if that matched the bucket height but that was my first thought when I saw that.
The ride height is within a few inches of each other not feet. I own a Chevy and a Ford and they are within a few inches of each other even though my Ford is an F-350 and my Chevy is a 1500

Option 3: Don't drive it at all & let it rust.
Option 4: Drive onto the highway going 60mph when suddenly, it stalls.
Option 5: Blow a tire at 65mph sending you into the guard rail, since your Toyota isn't safe, you die in the hospital from your injury's.
Option 6: Realize that Detroit fell because of Japanese car brands.
Option 7: Your Toyota is approaching a red light, when you proceed to press the brake, nothing happens, sending you, & your Toyota into traffic, you end up getting hit by a semi & roll over onto your roof, just like option 5, you die in the hospital from your injury's.
This was just a joke, it's not mean't to be taken seriously.
If you do take it seriously, you get offended easily.
Have a good day!
Schon239 your an idiot look into the story dumb ass the person that sued for their accelerator getting stuck got lucky the floor mat was pressing down on the gas peddle that was the recall for millions of toyota cars was to change the drivers floor mat get your facts straight idiot

chebby sucks and fiat-chrysler is pure junk
The irony is at the exact moment they were filming this, Chevrolet was quietly retooling their Flint, MI plant to run aluminum...
Which they ripped on Ford for years about
One reason they took three takes with the toolbox is the first time it punctured the bed of the Chevy.Car companies are like politicians, you can't believe anything they say.
Thank the Lord that someone addressed the crap chevy commercials
Icey Gaming Chevy is the best
Icey Gaming and your the crap
the diamond miners shut up chevy sucks ass
BlastingRoutine /AngryGamer. my 99 chevy has held up better than my friends 02 ford and i beat on my chevy a lot more then my friend did there ford so sorry man youre invalid
this is honestly the stupidest review ive ever seen... i completely understand your point about retaking the shots and they made it obvious but the whole bedliner comment is retarded, i know a lot of people including relatives who own these trucks without bedliners and it doesnt matter either way because its a bed strength test, not a bed liner test and they did a good job of showing that.
what they tested was 100% accurate though if you look at tensile and yeild strength of the 2 compared materials, aluminum is not a good metal for the job of a truck, im a military engineer (btw the whole "military grade aluminum" thing is a honk of shit) and also previously a welder and studied metallurgy...
I had a 2017 Chevy and it felt so cheaply made that I gave it back and went back to my 2002 Ford F-350 and I was actually happier with it even though I missed the heated seats haha
scott kough ew
scott kough you gave it back?? This story is bullshit😂
Zach Rutan maybe to you chevy fanboy
Morad Yaseen or actually it's a waste of money to trade it in for a hunk of shit. Should've traded it in for a new ford
antuan XII how is it a waste of money? Kids with opinions..
There is a reason ford trucks have outsold chevy's every year for the past forever. Chevy can't even make a tailgate handle that works lol.
Ya know if you combine the GMC Sierra and Silverado (which are the same damn truck) they are actually outsold the F-150 in 2017 right?
Fords been acutally around for 120 years but on google it will tell you they've been around for 115 years but chevy Shiterado has been around for a 107 years. Ford r the best
The only reason Ford is the best selling truck out there is because alot of babies drive trucks like a car so no use to buy a good heavy hauler like a chev I'm driving a 07 chev n never had a problem n it's a farm truck so I make it work
@@andrewpaton8130 well thats a lie because (chitolays) get it (chit) (shit) always have a problem. I had 5 chevs that died on me so fast it's not even funny. I have a 1999 7-3 diesel F 250 and never had a problem with it ever. But I take VERY VERY care of it and put special stuff I buy from AutoZone that I put in my fuel tank to keep my engine running right
@@daisyheart5385 My dad has a 1990 chevy obs and only thing hes changed on it is little maintenance work lol. Shitty nah. I'm a hybrid breed I love both ford and chevy.
I don't know about anyone else but one time I was outside and I dropped a sledge hammer on her ford truck bed and NOTHING happened
Gabe Harper nope it was my truck
the "are you sure about that" John Cena meme killed me
if someone's going to use the truck for work they shouldn't do it without a plastic bed liner
***** either or but from what I've used with both of them the plastic ones are better once they're worn out you can pull it out and put another one in get a little diesel or tar on a spray in bedliner and it's pretty much looking like crap after that plus when you drop stuff on the plastic one it is definitely more durable spraying might look a little better spray-in bedliners are a lot more money
***** when something heavy goes in there it will still dented no different than if nothing was in there and I have replaced a spray in bedliner Sealcoat and asphalt stick to it very good I ended up putting a plastic one over it plastic ones are very easy to clean
John Moon Spray in on this new F150? I think not it'll probably put a hole in the bed.
Maurice Cooper actually dumbass a rubber like material or like a spray in bed liner not to mention they aren't as slick either as some of the plastic ones just saying I have a spray in one in my truck
Raspberry Lemonade a spray in bedliner offers no protection something falling in like the tool boxes they do have non-skid Bedliners made of plastic. Rod sniffer
GM is the company that should have been allowed to fail. Great video.
Lol the basketball game edit got me spitting my coffee
Who doesn't use bed liners?
Show trucks with wood bases... That... that's it.
+Scott JS FUUC..... wait nvm yea thats true!! You got me...
Michael Takaichi people who don't haul anything and keep their trucks on the pavement
LOL
they do its just to test the metal
Lol what kind of idiot doesn't buy a BEDLINER for your truck
jdr ok doesn't because he's a badass! He's also a good troll:-)
What kind of idoit buys a truck that has to have a Bedliner?
randy norris stfu you Honda hipster
I don't have a bedliner or most people that I know that work in this area on farms we just have the painted bed that's all scratched and dented inside

no
BIHMOSTWANTED also the Chevy gets bad rust problems
rywolf01 since they use weaker transmissions then gm and gm transmissions and then recently a gm/ford 10 speed
rywolf01 the v6 ecoboost cant compete with a 4.8 gmc what the ever living fuck are you talking about the canyon looks nothing like a f250
rywolf01 dude that boxy front end has been around since 1973 for gmc lol but good luck ive hauled with a ecoboost and a 4.8 and 5.3 the gm overhauled the ford made it up to speed faster and I love the ecoboost but Its not hanging with a v8 in a truck also you should check yourself before you crash and burn I own a 1985 k10 a 2005 Silverado and a 2003 4.6l modular ill tell you my Silverado is stouter then a modular your ecoboost doesnt even make the torque of a gm v8 also no ford didnt use thst boxy front end if you look at gmcs since 1973 yep gmc has been using it that damn long
Not to mention Chevy is going to aluminum bed too.
carlton colvin LOL!
carlton colvin they have to because the epa is making them
carlton colvin yeah because it's cheaper and since everyone has bedliners anyway, it doesn't matter.
Alex Nelson aluminum is alot more expensive than steel idiot
I just want to see what they will say when they switch over lol. that being said, it's not the EPA making them, it's the fact that you can "legally" load more on a truck that weighs less. in the F150's case, it saved 800lbs so that means the user can now load 800lbs more and still be within spec. the gains of using aluminum wasn't MPGs (they were negligible in comparison to the old steel bodies) manufacturing costs (since aluminum costs more) its all in the name of a more user friendly work truck
The basketball cutaway fucking KILLED ME 😂😂
I love when people expose these stupid ass chevy commercials
not so sure about your name....
DRAGONslayar105 shut up brooo if you not chevy lover just shut up bitch
its not really stupid though, a lot of ppl buy trucks to not just pull there boat and drive around. most ppl buy it for work and bed liners cost more, so most ppl don't buy it with the truck because when they get a work truck they buy the cheapest one cause they know there gonna beat it to shit. and if ur throwing demo stuff in the back u don't want that cat close enough to hit the side wall of the truck. u obviously have never driven a bob cat ether or you would know they aren't the most easy thing to drive.
SAME😁
So there saying we're gonna throw 300 pounds into our truck
what
TrickShot Bros some people do?..
John auz every time i go wood cutting 😉
who dosint i when i go and pick up a load of gravel the guy with loader just dumps 1000 pounds of gravel right in the back

gm will do anything they can to hype their junk.
troy barnhouse lol Chevys are lemons
troy barnhouse it still better quality then fords

My dad has a 2004 Ford F-250 that he baught used about 5 months ago it is clean underneath as could be starts right up all the time I love it
Oh pleeeaaaassssss Chevy!
"actors are real people" me: pshhh HAHAHA
who is dumb enough to drop cilender blocks from a bulldozer? WHO EVEN HAS A BULLDOZER!?!??! WHY WONT THEY PLACE THE BLOCKS CAREFULLY!??!!??!
*tosses box in Chevy" nothin' *tosses box*HARDER*in Ford* LOOK AT DAT, BAD
Alpha-kid_8219 #1 it's a skid steer not a dozer and I have one sitting in my garage I don't have a business I use it around my property it's a very handy piece of equipment that you would be surprised to know a lot of people have #2 cilender?? wtf is a cilender block. they were solid wall block not CINDER blocks
Jason R oh Ok...
Funny how they just throw a toolbox with “lots” of tools in, i would simply put it in and be more careful with my truck. And most “work trucks” have bed liners.
Good job Buddy keep up the good work. High quality
I appreciate that man!! Thanks for watching!
If the Ford is so bad how come it out sells both gm and ram

Alex Wroblewski Chevy is a great brand
I did not buy my F-150 with a bed liner... I got one an hour later.
Alex Wroblewski what up
you must be a ford guy
Did you know that little red toolbox is a vintage snap-on that weighs *28 pounds empty*. That toolbox isn't even made anymore.
Alex Wroblewski stupid
Alex Wroblewski a
“Dang bro, you’re good at pausing videos”
“Thanks bro”
“How many tries did it take you?”
“Two times”
How has nobody noticed how the toolbox bounces around a lot in the Chevy (as if it were empty) compared to when it hit the Ford (looking like it had weight inside)? Rewind it and watch closely with both trucks and you can see the tool box bounces around a lot more when its dropped into the Chevy.....just saying.
Mind. Blown.
Chris Moss i seen it on the first try lol
Chris Moss ya first thing i noticed
here is how it goes in terms of how far ahead or behind another brand they are.
Ford
Chevy
Toyota
Dodge
In car brands or trucks
This is great, I lost it at the basketball court scene haha.
Ayyy good haha. Thank you for watching!

Southern heritage Boyz Cuz they made vehicles stronger back them fucken idiot
Okay, Chevy can compare the bed test to the new aluminum F150, but the F150 was the only truck this year to pass the crash tests... To me, that's more valuable than a bed that doesnt have a liner
LeveledLariat yeah true
LeveledLariat no all of the trucks passed

aluminum pronounce the second way is how you pronounce it in regards to the periodic table in chemistry
Lets be real, i'm a girl, I drive a 2015 Ford F-150 and I would NEVER do any of those things that were tested on that commercial, so I'm not worried about making holes lol
Angeles Lopez then why drive a truck they arent meant to be cars i actually use my truck and drive my car when i feel like not doing anything
jdr ok because I use it when carrying certain things that I can't carry in a car, plus they last longer than cars, they're more spacious and safer... plus I fell in love with this truck so that's just my taste
jdr ok I also drive an f-150 people talk about ford all the time but until you have my truck you can't talk. Trucks are made to haul and tow not beat up any vehicle would not last to certain test.
Angeles Lopez but you better ford flip over and redirect
That wasn't the point of the ad. Its just showing how strong it is...

New trucks are for wimps. The old 80s trucks are the ones for work
superstar64’s archived videos my 85 dodge is still going strong. +500k miles with original motor
I agree man! I've got an '81 F150 in original condition that I love! It runs strong, but it looks like it should be in a junkyard, though. The curb side is completely mangled from where it was t boned when the original owner had it, and the back bumper is mashed down. But I tell you what, it is a fine work truck.
Unless you're an independent delivering Rv's and have to have one within a certain age and mileage

every time I see that commercial I'm just like why the fuck would I do that to a truck that's like 70k
Neither of those trucks were 70k. They were more than likely in the mid 40s. You have to get a diesel F350/3500HD with a high end trim package to make the 70k mark.
48k not 70k
Dam this was funny i love this channel now
Yeah i work for Ford and we have a test patch of a ford and a chevy bed hit with the same force and made the same size dimple. The aluminum is thicker to compensate for strength, yet is still lighter than steel.

Really? Ive never seen them without unless its the one or two beater work trucks we had at work
Oliver M yeah I rarely see them even in new 2017 trucks. I guess not too many Canadians get them compared to americans

That's weird in Calgary I never see em'. Maybe all the scumbags that live here don't care about their trucks lol
Richard koehler fords still rust!
1k dislikes? Wtf? This was quality content lol. Apparently some people don't like the truth?
Im a Chevy man no doubt. But this commercial is shit. Yes the fords best is softer, by its metal make up. BUT the toolbox did puncture the chevy bed on first drop. Along with in my opinion atleast; he seemed to literally throw the box at the fords bed, but then barely touched the box to make it fall into the chevy. If your going to throw stuff like this into your brand new truck bed WITHOUT using Line-x or some other bed liner, expect to ruin it regardless.
FINALLY! A Chevy guy with common sense! THANK YOU!
Zachary Redmon ok so i wasnt the only one that seen that
Zachary Redmon No it didn't the Ford got punctured
A much better test would be aluminum vs steel beds with bed liner. Because I'd never use my truck unless it had a bedliner. If they could prove that even with a bedliner the steel is significantly more durable, my opinion would be different. But I don't think it would matter much, certainly not enough of a difference to outweigh the weight savings of aluminum
Ford rules Chevy drools
I was about to comment, "This is supposed to be comedy?" But the clips after the commercial actually made me laugh.
Aluminum is pronounced differently by us brits
don't bother americans don't understand
Nor is color spelled "colour," behavior as "behaviour", etc.)
Shaking my head... the USCS is a plague to humanity. Cherish the logical, intuitive metric system.
James Wilkinson-Jones There's only one "i" in aluminum.
Say what you want, the chevrolet was in better condition after the video.
xxFOXxxI2ACINGxx how much of a dumbass are you? it's a rigged commercial
Ethyn Griffith Prove it you fucking moron.
xxFOXxxI2ACINGxx he just did dipshit
No but you clearly are
Ford is the best
This whole commercial is a joke and here's why: You have to "upgrade" to get a steel bed from Chevy and you have to "downgrade" to get the aluminum bed from Ford. Basically they intentionally compare beds to their advantage. Why not compare the aluminum beds from both brands? Or the steel beds? I mean I can compare two houses, one with a second floor and one without. And then I make a commercial that says: "Well this here house doesn't have a second floor. Buy ours instead."
Brannan Idle which chevy truck has an aluminum bed?
WRONG
ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. And very true. Was laughing the whole time. I look forward to more vids from you Alex.
Who else paused @ 4:12 , and read the whole thing?
It took me like 10 try's
FIRST TRY?
Smashing Guy I 2 tries
Personality I'm a Chevy van , but the reason I did not get offended was because you should proof and because you put the one thing no other RUclipsr does , you put don't watch if you get offended . You my friend know your stuff and to that I say your smart young man . And thank you for putting that at the beginning of your video . Keep it up brother .👍
I like Ford but chevy totally failed to show the downsides of their truck like worse fuel economy because of more weight from the Steele no to mention more weight on the suspension and tires so they will all wear out faster
Christian Gierach I like neither because I am a deer
Deer well Deere is shit so
Christian Gierach no the suspension and tires wont wear out more quickly shit they wear out at the same rate
Christian Gierach no ford and ram have the worst fuel con of me
5:49
by the way the Silverado also gets a hole in the bed that you can see when they drop it. they then hide it with the other angles
That was already said in the video. But in case you just didn't watch the whole thing, good observation.
I started laughing when it showed the missed basketball shots. Thats what really got to me.
thank u iv always hated this commercial. I like both, but it's really annoying
Darrio Giacobbe I've always hated when people post things and can't spell or use proper grammar.
Ryan Keller: yet you forgot a comma
And that's how you get a sub
WEC Media hi
the only thing that Comercial prove that steel is stronger than aluminum.
Ford: Caught in 4K bro
Chevy: oh shit...
Automotive commercials are all true. They never ever exaggerate.
You missed that there is a hole in the first take of the chevy tool box test
Actually it doesn't. See the people who drive Chevy vehicles are actually educated past middle school, because they didn't grow up on a farm helping pigs fuck each other. These people are aware that a thing exists called a shadow. When you cause a dent, it causes a shadow unless you have a spotlight directly overhead aiming straight at the dent.
the more you know!
Screwg oogle and why wouldnt it have a direct light. its a chevy comercial
Yeah chevy has bad commercials or whatever, but what's the hardest part about driving a ford? Telling your parents you're gay.
How come they already knew? Because you drive a ford.
good parents wouldnt care
DesignedByBold stolen joke from Amiri King
I love it. Reminds me of "Fight Back With David Horowitz". An old show of the seventies that called out retailers on their products.
I own a Chevy and a Ford and they are within a few inches of each other even though my Ford is an F-350 and my Chevy is a 1500
Spicoli1Bilek. it really depends on the suspention option set up that is on the trucks. my work truck is a ford and it sits very low compared to other ford trucks ive seen. and over the years its gotten lower and lower and lower. i have no bias either way. i like both chevy and ford trucks. if you buying a new truck, you cant go wrong no matter witch one you pick.

logan graham he's special
Man I love Chevy but this shit was way to funny and good
Glad a chevy guy could see the humor in it! Thanks for giving it a chance!
“Aluminiem” is the British way of saying it
If you live where you have lots of snow and ice you want heavier vehicle
That's why I drive a semi
I disagree
This0is0pointless Of course you do... Physics are wrong and This0is0pointless is right.
This0is0pointless you are allowed to disagree and be wrong. that's okay.
***** I'm a Ford guy. My house has 2 Fords, 2 Lincolns, and 1 Chrysler. Rust is a concern for sure. But getting around in the winter? Weight is your friend.
The British spelling for "aluminum" in "aluminium"
You're wrong.
The bed of the ford in this is so fake. The bed in the ford is made of the same as the chevy.
No it isn't! Tf are you talking about
