Najera was one of my fave small towns along the whole Camino. The river running through the centre of town combined with the eateries and pubs alongside it made for a very pleasant stay, albeit a short stay!
My sister and I walked from Logrono to Naverret then Najera when we did the Camino in 2018. We stayed at the same place as you in Najera. Such wonderful memories come back when watching your videos. Dying to take my 11 yr old son on my next camino (actually he keeps bugging me to take him). We sent our bags ahead of us when doing long days (30km or more) and it made it a lot easier on our bodies. Listen to your body and take care everyone. Buen camino!
Thank you Brent! You know it makes sense to take your son 😃...as you know the Camino is something that stays with you! And the bag transfer is amazing, we love it 🎒
I’m starting the Camino in 2 days and love your series! Excellent vlogging! I’ve been looking forward to each episode. Keep up the great work. I love how authentic your vlogs are! It feels like the audience is walking with you.
Cheers Dan - You start on Monday then (20th June)? That is so exciting, we are slightly jealous here...the anticipation of starting the Camino when arriving at SJPP is so rememberable! Please do let us know how you are getting on. Buen Camino 👣
Hey Janet....transport went really well, so glad they do it! Blisters have all but cleared up and ankle is so much better....keep watching as there are some challenging days coming up 👣
Sooo enjoying your family adventure on the Camino. Thank u so much for sharing. I would love to know the name of the song in your video today. The one that is in Spanish! Can you provide it please. 😊😊😊
Cheers Cindy! We love sharing our journey 👣 There are two tracks associated with this video: 1) Artist = Vendla Track = Naranjas en Diciembre 2) Artist = Rendez-voodoo Track = Faster Car (Spanish Version) These tracks are both found on Epicdemic Sounds 👍
Cany you let us know a little bit about the facilities (charging, laundry, communal relaxing space etc) and meals (buffet type, or fixed, caters to vegetarians, etc) at each albergue, if possible? Would be very handy to hear it first hand!
Hey Flowers Flowers (still loving this profile name!)...sorry for the delay in replying, been a long walking day today. So here it goes:- Charging: Has never been a problem. We bought a convertor that also has two USB points included and most often there are loads of sockets in the rooms Laundry: Hit and miss...we wash our socks, underwear and t-shirts everyday (give or take) and we do it by hand most of the time. They have sinks in place and lines to dry and we always make it one of the first jobs to do. When having a rest day, we head out to the Launderette. Communal Relaxing Space: These have always been really good, if travelling during good weather season then we have always had an outdoor space as well Meals: Can be a little of the same (chicken & chips/Fish & chips/Spag Bol etc) but if you pick the right Albergue that caters specifically for vegetarians (and they are around we stayed in Las Hadas in Reliegos) you can get areal good pilgrim meal 😋 Keep watching as I think that we might have some more of this content coming into the videos 👍

Just beautiful....there aren't many that we said we wouldn't go back to 😃
I was chased by that squirrel too 😂. Brings back great memories!

I’m really proud of you, guys. You’re longest stage so far but still in great mood at the end of the walk. Keep going 🦵🏻🦵🏼🦵🏽🦵🏾🦵🏿!
