- There are many ways to translate samba rhythms to the conga-bongo setup. And in this tutorial I will explain different possibillities to aproach samba.
I hope that you like the rhythms and I will post the Percussion Play Along videos next week. But of course you can also use other Samba Play Along videos on my channel.

Michael, thank you for making all of these tutorials, you and Edgardo Cambon have taught me everything I know on the bongos
Thank you very much and I wish you good all the best!
Grazie maestro x questo ❤ grazie
Thank you and enjoy it!!
Oh Michael!!! I have been following your videos for a yrs now. I doubt you remember that I play in a Samba Band. Batucada all percussion. I have used your Rebolo videos and some others so I can really hear the Samba in this video! And the Bossa Nova clave as well. As a conga player I just love this video. I am playing congas at church weekly, and at a monthly Jazz group. ( old pop ‘Jazz’) Our music director used to have a band that played a lot of Bossa Nova tunes, and we do some Bossa Nova music in church as well. I have some work cut out for me to incorporate the bongos. I bought your book and DVD for Samba/Afro Blockos for our Samba band but it really haven’t been used 😢. I am still trying to get our Samba group to do some Samba Pagoge.
Thank You so much for your sharing your talents.
I am glad to hear that you try to use the information from my videos and my book. I wish you all the best and I hope you have fun in playing those great rhythms!
