You can rev the engine all day long it doesn't impress anybody, i came here to learn how to get more power from this engine and it would be nice if you just explained in the video what's been done, costs and results. Thanks.
Guys, we all know this guy is blowing smoke he is an awful business man and has stopped working on these engines for quite a while. He would accept payment and take 6 months to build the engine from what I have read. That is just crazy. Super unfair too to the buyer. We all know he is lying. But that aside, his engine sounds super deep. I like it.
man yes but if you put a small turbo on it you get greeat horse power.gti engine is very goog on samurai but the big problem is wires, cables and need chance car computer so due turbo much easier and the gain is much better very easy small turbo, intercooler goog pressure fuel pump and thats it man.this tbi injetor due good job by his self
nice video broth, nice engine.. I saw other videos that almost all parties usate are new, that well, you have not thought up some level , you have not thought up some level working with a 1.6L with DOHC a gti engine, I really like your work because everything looks clean and spotless, I recommend adding improvements msd ignition parts that are very good, regards...
@@Ascension1978 no not difficult. You need the engine, wiring harness, ECM and exhaust manifold from the vitara. If you want more power you can also take a 2.3 out of a aero sx and use the oil pan, oil pick up tube and exhaust manifold from the 2.0 vitara. The biggest thing was modifying the wiring harness. Other than that, motor mount, transmission adapter if you are using the samurai transmission (I did cause I had 6.50:1 gears in my tcase), mod the exhaust to clear the frame. You can't use the stock 2.0 fan so I had to buy another radiator and a pusher fan. Samurai flywheel needs to be machined with the bolt pattern of the 2.0.
anyone here try using isky cam in there 1.3? if so is it recommended to upgrade valve springs? I've started a build and it sounds like it's knocking with a full rebuild and a isky cam ....any help is needed asap thanks
LOL. Wrong. 30 years of countless people running Webers says you have no idea what you’re talking about. The only problem with Weber carbs is that there are not a lot of people who have the knowledge and skills necessary to tune one correctly. One of the top tuners of Toyota carbs for Samurais says he has a crate full of 3K carbs that were such junk right out of the box that he could do nothing with them.
120 hp my ass, I own and have worked on samurais more times than I care to admit. The only way to get 120 hp is for a 1.6 8v with the Calamini supercharger from pulleyboys and the new weber, it does not matter what compression your running your never ever gonna get 120 hp out of the 1.3 unless it's forced induction *fact* Just a FYI I live by Low Range in Utah where they build these engines literally daily. Stock a 1.3 is 60 hp @ ***6500*** rpm redlined. Think about it.
just the fact its wearing a WEBER tells you it is JUNK for Wheeling,....lets see a DYNO sheet showing that 120hp...you have not even fixed the Head issue all Suzuki 1.3's have
@@omcx1e What is the fix on steep inclines, because I have weber and it works really good all day long, except on steep inclines it will flood or do something where it will die and have to be pulled back down on level ground to be started again.

That's a sweet lil' motor man!
Well!!! guys I am from Trinidad and I have a 1.3 with a Webber and she makes magic in the mud,
hey man can you post a video of your engine? ?
I've got an 86 model and I'm redoing the head and installing a 272 torker cam. I've already installed a weber carb and header. I sure hope this helps
Where did you get parts from?
Ordered them online
Buena preparación
Приветствую подскажите пожалуйста с какой модели аналог можно купить карбюратор, у меня стоит от жигулей не очень
Do you have used before a swith gti 1.3 16v on samurai??? I know it's a lot of work to do but maybe i will do it soon

Awesome!
We're can I get parts for this
Still building them ?
120 hp is great n all, but how much torque and where does it peak?
Stock engine peaks at 100N.M
@Adrian Welgemoed clearly it isn't stock as they only made like 45 hp from the factory
@@jaceb7136 you can get way more power using the Honda trick. You can get 350 whp out of these things
How much timing?
Would this swap into a 2003 alto?
do like i did and swap in a 2.0L from a vitara... you get 127hp 137ftpds of torque stock...
How difficult was it? Do you know of a guide?

hey man what size of weber is tha?
32/36
Toyota 3K or 4K carb way better than Weber! Harley my side even better but more expensive!

A lot of money for a motor that still has a dead spot! It's sad. That's why I'm putting a 1.6L Mazda miata motor in mine!
whats that dead spot?
Jorge B it's a webber thing. I have had 8 samurai ' s and 4 have had Webbers they all did it
Stupid to assume every weber has the same issue just because yours did... Tbh its probably the tuner with the issue 🤣
BS. The dead spot issue was with the factory carb, not the Weber.
I want 120HP!!!
just read a bunch not so nice things about this mans business , not to good .
