On this trip I go on a short road trip around Lake Okeechobee doing some scouting and research for fresh water species. The day was great the weather was amazing and the scenery beautiful. Try Canal Point. Thst is a legendary crappie hole.

Try going down to Harney Pond and fish the canal before you get to the boat launch. Fish out about thirty feet and about 4 to 5 feet deep.

You have to go to the other side and fish the pylons. That spot where your fishing was a good spot but not anymore. Where you were was where the action is. Also you have to go early in the morning or before sunset.
