- I watched Dundee United v Raith Rovers in the biggest game in the SPFL Championship so far this season. Then, I went to Montrose to see Falkirk win the league in the biggest SPFL League 1 game of the season!

Montrose fan, I was at the game and delighted for Falkirk, but they ripped us to bits. It wasnt that we played badly, it was because we were out classed by a side on a high with no pressure and their talents and flair battered us. Montrose was filled with Falkirk fans who spent their hard earned cash which really helped our club and town. Just a wee correction from what the young bairns fan said, there was a guard of honour from the Mo team when Falkirk came on the pitch. Pleased for Falkirk, they are top of the championship side with so much talent

As a Mo fan it was great to see the huge numbers of Falkirk, the hard earned you brought has done our club and town a lot of good. You gave us a fair kicking, it wasnt that we were bad, it was a hugely talented Falkirk team. I woke up depressed on Sunday, then minded when Germany thumped Brazil 7-1, so it doesnt mean Brazil are sh!te. Well done, good luck in the championship.
A lot of Bairns are rooting for you lads in the playoffs. Other than Saturdays match Montrose have gave us some really hard games over the seasons.

Falkirk are some side at that level Montrose are challenging for play offs
With the Ayr game the day before - great video btw - and this, that's three matches in less than 24 hours and videos edited and up right away. You genuinely do more to promote lower league football in Scotland than the SPFL.

The Aberdeen,Dundee United dominating thing( not said by Sam but others )always puzzled me,from 1980 until 1990,the winners of the league Celtic won 4,Rangers won 3,Aberdeen won 3 and Dundee United won 1 hardly dominating,anyway from a lapsed Bairns fan hope we can now get the unbeaten league season and promotion to the SPL next season,the championship as mentioned is gonna be so open,COYB.
Take how Aberdeen and Dundee United were doing in Europe into account as well though.
@deadmentalk386 Still not quite dominating,dominating to me is Celtic just now and the Jock Stein era and Rangers in the Souness era,I know Aberdeen winning a European trophy and United getting to a final and being robbed of another final was amazing,but I was talking more domestically,I know Aberdeen did win a few Scottish cups during that era as well as 2 or 3 league cups but without checking the cups it would probably be close between them and Celtic for the trophy count,anyway I wish we could get that more competitive era back,but unfortunately we never will I think,teams like Aberdeen and United etc can now only hope for a Scottish cup or League Cup every 7 or 8 seasons or so if they are very very lucky.
In comparison to how it's been since. Think Dundee utd and Aberdeen also made a few cup finals and second place etc.
Where as you look at the trophies this century they have two between them and rangers and Celtic must have what 40 to 50 between them this century?
@@johngreenhorn8853 I agree to an extent but your point on Dundee United and Aberdeen hoping to get to a final every 7 or 8 years is not quite accurate. Dundee United, for example, between 1974 and 2015 averaged a cup final appearance every 2 years.
@colinanderson7384 But your talking history when was the last time United or Aberdeen for that matter won anything I mean had a quick look United have not done a thing for 10 years,lets be honest here Scotland has 2 teams and that is basically it,probably 1 in the last 10 years and it is a shame but unfortunately a fact.
Word of advice: if you're going east after leaving Tannadice, park to the east of Tannadice! Somewhere around the junction of Court Street/Clepington Road is a good starting point. You'd be on the kingsway within 20-30 mins

The atmosphere at the Montrose game was simmering as soon as the fans were in the stadium. We were wondering why you weren’t there before the kickoff. Now we know. Just to say, you missed some real gems of the moments. You could see the Falkirk squad preparedness was there.
Sam, I think you should move to either Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. Imagine single handedly improving the exposure and quality of not one but two national leagues. You have done so much for the Scottish game. I am so jealous we don't have our own Sam here in Northern Ireland and down south in the Republic

Well that game in hand didn’t amount to much did it? Still, a lot of footy to be played yet. A lot can happen over the course of the next 4 weeks, but United now seem to be back to their early season form.
Why didn't you leave tannadice 15 minutes before full time to beat the traffic and make the falkirk game on time
I know it's kinda bad luck to leave a game early, but surely it makes more sense to get out of a game that's 2-0 a few minutes early so you can beat the traffic and save you some time for the second game? You missed the whole first half and four goals.

United's fans have been outstanding. Should really be in the top 6 and challenging for European spots. But they have been dreadfully mismanaged by uninterested American owners, clueless so-called directors of football and appointing rookie youth coaches to manage the first team. Behind the scenes the club is shambolic. But they have a great fan base the 6th biggest in Scotland. It's just a shame American owners have ruined yet another great club on a growing list of UK clubs ruined by yanks.
