Please reverse tuning screw slightly and try. Have you pulled the choke and pumped petrol bulb sufficiently? Tuning: remove your spark plug and pour a little petrol into it and burn. Use a zero grade paper to clean the sparking points. Remove all carbon from plug. Adjust gap to 20 inch thou inc . i.e. thickness of an old post card. Check spark plug by pulling the thread with earthing the with m/c body. Spark should be jumping well and bright. Put the plug back . Pump petrol and off the choke. Start m/c and let it run a few seconds. Now switch the choke and adjust carburettor screw to run the m/c fast. Turn the screw back and listen to the m/c running slower. At one point it will become least or even the machine will stop. Bring back to minimum position and start. Raise and like what you were experiencing, the m/ c will stop. Advance screw by a quarter turn and try. If it stops again increase by another quarter. You will notice that the speed goes to the maximum as you turn up the throttle. Your m/ c should give optimum milage and power now. If you still doubt, change the plug and see. This is the simplest. Next stage will be checking the carburettor which, though not very difficult, be better given to an experienced mechanic. Even a motor cycle mechanic will repair the carburettor. If you still feel the strength insufficient you will have to see the clutch. ( Hope you have pumped enough grease to the gear assembly and your tap and go or the blade are o.k.) This also may be attended to by an experienced mechanic though you can learn it easily if the mechanic teaches you. It is better to get the clutch checked if you feel that the power of machine has come down.
