What no one ever seems to understand about that character is that his "4th Wall" moments are actually results of the extreme Schizophrenia he suffers from the brain damage which occurred during his weekend of severe oxygen deprivation
Hence the silly cartoon characters he sees after being stabbed in the head.
Unfortunately, WOMEN love an extremely dark comic character that mocks those with serious mental health issues.

What I love about the X-Men movies is their sense of individuality
And their ability to think outside the box
Most of the MCU movies never take risks
The MCU during the Infinity Saga was a massive risk to begin with for there hadn't been a film series that wasn't a trilogy back then and so in truth the MCU did more then what Deadpool will ever do.

Depending on the particular iteration of the comic, Deadpools' powers come from a whole bunch of sources. Here it's a mutation of Wolverines' healing factor - he technically still has cancer, his body just keeps repairing the cells the cancer destroys. In another, he's immortal because Lady Death is in love with him, so Thanos - who was in love with Lady Death - cursed him with immortality so they can't ever be together.
Whatever the case - you absolutely do not want his powers, they are horrible. He is basically in a constant state of extreme pain, to the point that he's become numb to it. He feels everything - every wound, every broken bone and limb cut off, every single second of torment from final stage cancer. There was a comic where his head was cut off and put on a pike, and he was singing...So yea, Deadpool is completely and utterly bonkers, it's his minds' only defense.
The wolverine blood thing is the Canon explanation for his healing factor.
As a mutant he was born with superhuman agility and peak human stats. The weapon X program gave him the wolverine blood boost they gave everyone in the program to cure his cancer, and the unable to die thing is Thanos magical curse on Deadpool for boning Lady Death, Thanos unrequited crush and boss.
Because he already had cancer and the improvements they made on the blood serum to treat that, his healing factor is both both stronger than Logans despite Pool being younger, and it broke his mind giving him 4th wall breaking narration.
I have watched the opening sequence by itself innumerable times.
Occasionally I stay for the pizza scene.
I watched the full reaction of each channel on this video and the blonde one is still no fun

Deadpool is what is known as a parody character and his disfigurement is the result of his cancer multiply from 4 to over 200 and his healing factor is so superior that he can get his head cut off and he wouldn't die and his mutation wasn't natural for it was artificial and so his mental state went insane to the point where he became aware of the reality that he lives in from the 4th wall breaking and at times he completely scatters it.

Deadpool in the comics is completely and utterly unpredictable as he himself has no idea what he's going to do. Ridiculous as it is this gives him immunity to anyone who can look into the future to predict his actions. Because he is literally "unpredictable".
Even Doctor Strange with his time infinity stone couldn't say what would happen as there's an almost infinite number of potential futures in Deadpool.
Oh, and in the comics Thanos was really pissed off with Deadpool for messing with the love of his life, who is unfortunately Death (female).

I was supposed to go in and see this myself because I just turned 18 at the time but my mom decided to come with me instead for unknown reasons....I thought id go see one movie and she'd go see another ....that is not what happened we saw stuff she was quite....until we walk to the car....she let me know that she was not happy
I couldn’t see it when it came out unfortunately. My mom told me and my brother she’d decide if it was all that bad when she saw it so she could show us. It was and she didn’t show us. Thankfully when we were old enough she let us watch both of em with her and we all three saw Deadguy and Wolveguy when it came out.

@@QuienSoyJaja The woman Deadpool falls in love with in the movie is Death. The very same one that Thanos is desperate to please and is madly in love with. She is the one who gives Wade cancer... so she can take him to her realm of Death for eternity. Wade, then trying to overcome his cancer, because of his love for Death becomes a mutant incapable of dying making Death madly in love with Wade because she can never truly claim him eternal. This also explains why in the movie Lady Death is never harmed. In the Comics, Lady Death makes Thanos her avatar of Death just as Drax is the Avatar of life. She only teases Thanos to drive him mad and make him think if he brings her enough soul that he could then earn her favor. Lady Death taunts Thanos further by confiding in him that she loves Deadpool and it causes a bitter rivalry between Thanos and Deadpool. Thanos, in the comics, also goes as far in "killing in her name" that he murders all his illegitimate offspring because he believes Death doesnt love him because he brought Life into this world.
