The AMC Valley View 16 is all that's left now (enter by the mall entrance facing I-635, just outside the former Sears), and it's super cheap: Regular admissions are $5.99 ($3.99 before 4pm), and RealD 3D admissions $8.99 ($6.99 before 4pm).
I guess it's all gone by now, this breaks my heart. Going to Valley View on Saturdays in the eighties to get something new at Bloomingdale's for the club that night was so much fun. The fun is over...........and our society is dying along with these places.
U did not explore entire mall maybe a quarter i have been all over that mall back 1980s that place massive i use to work there 1985 that mall second biggest in Dallas 1980s only northpark bigger then the food court bottom floor it massive too i loved that mall north Dallas at it best mark always 635 guy its imploded now i hope folks spending 2 billion go broke lol i live in Wichita falls texas i always be North texas Dallas first hometown i sure Carrollton a shithole now my hometown class of 1986 Newman smith i see it in 2008 i not recognize it all brick no stucco man in 86 my high school was beautiful now probably a prison. I think someone will invest in this mall, upgrade it and it will be the hottest mall in Dallas.
Don't get locked in
1st floor is closed and it's underground
Also when I went the Sears was closed down for good
It’s all underground now, bud
