I don't think the modern polymer framed pistols such as Glocks, SIGs, etc will last the test of time of a steel framed Colt 1911 or a steel framed Beretta 92, or even the Colt 1873/76 Peacemaker, or Webley 1887 revolver, Mauser C96, etc, all of which are still going strong after at least 100 years.
Now Ill tell you Powers Booth is a Bad Ass . But that is far too much dialogue. After Judge Colt . Barks . Hollywood Just cant comprehend the equation of E=Mc 2

That's actually ok, the disconnector locks out the trigger from the sear in that scenario.

I always wondered. If you must have 9mm and want a 1911 type gun, why not an HP 35? A Novak Hi Power was the gold standard for 9mm autos in the 80s.
