I’m not even an “influencer” and all of my social media is private, but I’ve taken my kids off of social media completely for many reasons. I would be so curious to hear what you guys have to say. So many people just don’t get it.

I just send pics directly to the people I talk all the time with and direct family members

I feel this happens SO much and it’s so hard 😢 I loved my birthing experiences but I feel so judged, shamed, and belittled about it by other moms 😭 why can’t we all just be happy with our choices and not try to put others’ choices down?!
to the person who lost their friends because of becoming a Christian… this may not make it easier hearing but you’re not alone. I want to share my experience- I was in a lonely season of 2 years. I had 2 friends who both lived 18 hours away from me. I lost my mother to cancer within the 2 years as well. It was a debilitating, heart wrenching time. BUT we serve a God who pulls miracles. He taught me SO much through that season, I am a much more well rounded Christian who grew her knowledge because I had no choice but to lean into Him and His plan. Give your time to Him, if you see this. It may be lonely but you will come out of this trial with joy, He is hearing every prayer, holding you through sadness, and seeing all your steps. Sending love to anyone who is feeling alone!!!

We shared pictures of our babygirl for the first year 1/2 of her life on Facebook, because we’ll all our extended family and friends are there to stay connected. But then one day we got a conviction of why? Do they reach out personally? Do they speak to you on anything else? Do we want them knowing our daughter? Etc etc and than we stopped posting, we removed all photos that were on there. We got ALOT OF HATE! From even those we taught we could really trust. Since then, it has been really freeing and eye opening! So I’d love to just hear from y’all on what you have found and prayed etc.🙂

I had a completely natural labor and delivery almost a year ago. I never felt any of the "surges" or the instant pain relief when my baby came out. It was pure agony.... I dont ever think I could have another baby....I am just not interested in going through all that again. I am amazed by woman that can have a ton of children, especially naturally!😅 Praying for a safe delivery for you!
I totally understand you. My first birth was also kinda traumatizing but my second birth was a lot better. I can't speak for someone else but I am so thankful that no birth is the same😅 If you would like more children I would definitely pray about it! God bless you
Currently 35w3d and feel ya on the wanting to take control, being uncomfortable, ready to take care of 4 kids. This will be God willing my fourth homebirth so once 37 weeks hits i’ll be HYPER aware of the state of my home and just making sure food is stocked, stuff is ready to go and mindset is ready for birth. I also have this mind trip every time that my first was born 37w5d, my second 40w exactly and my third 39w5d so i know i could go earlier but also every baby comes when their ready so i just always get in my head of “when’s it gonna be”
I’ve given birth natural 3 times at my birthing center. The first labor I went into unafraid because of the whole “ignorance is bliss” thing 😅 however, with the other 2 I really struggled with fear of having the strength to do it again… It would hit me around 36ish weeks… I leaned into the Lord and my husband for support. I used that time to cry to the Lord and to create my worship birthing playlist. Both times after working through that fear/grief, I felt strengthened and renewed! I was ready to do it again and the Lord got me through. I almost seems like those feelings come as a reminder to help us get mentally prepared for the enormous task of birth. Birthing naturally takes all of your mental energy as well as physical!! It was completely worth it for me though ❤

Thank you for taking your kids out every day!!! I was homeschooled from 5-18 years old and my dad worked from home too. It was very difficult as a child only leaving the home a few times a week, especially as a people person!
It's been wonderful to watch you experience so much growth in wisdom in such a short period of time. With reference to getting into the Word and it being confusing, I have found The Bible Project to be a really great resource in providing context for different concepts/books in the Bible. Hope this can be helpful to someone who feels confused or intimidated getting into the Word. You're not alone!
I mean this with the sweetest heard but questioning if someone is saved when they ask how to better understand the Bible could be soooooo discouraging and condescending. I'm sure you didn't mean it in that way just kinda want to point that out its not really your place to question someones salvation when they are seeking advice on such a general topic.
You should start small, praying and studying the Bible everyday if you’re not already! Slowly God will show you which changes you can make in your life that you’re ready for if you ask Him.

The thing that helped me with my homebirth vbac was that even though I didn’t know what to expect I didn’t have to know because I know God knows everything and I know Him so I leaned into Him and that helped a lot
I had my first in 2011 and from the start never posted his face. Something about it didn’t sit right. As time goes on and the internet has unfolded I’m glad we went with our gut. With my four kids there have been a few slip ups from grandparents but they’ve been humble to take down whatever pictures with faces.

You can tell she’s been through and is continuing to be transformed by the Holy Spirit.. it seems as though she’s just letting go of the old version of herself and embracing the new creation she continues to be molded into by deleting the old stuff. It’s beautiful!🎉❤

I am pregnant and planning our third home birth... in two and half years...haha. I relate so much to what you're saying about ignorance being bliss. The first two I was fairly unbothered by the idea of birth in general but I have found myself saying, "I'm not ready to give birth yet" because I'm remembering what to expect (specifically postpartum) I'll be praying for you and a smooth delivery at home!

I loved the Christian hypnobirthing too! I thought I might get annoyed with it, so I didn’t get the paid version. But, with my last birth that’s all I wanted to listen to as well during the contractions v the worship music. If we have another baby I will definitely pay for the app. It really helped me through transition/the pushing phase

One thing I've learned about how submitting in differing theology plays out is with kids. Like if I have a different opinion on something, I'm going to teach my young kids the way my husband believes. I won't add my opinion on something and muddle the topic. Keep it plain and simple. He's the leader, so if his thought on it is not unbiblical (and not just "unbiblical" in the sense that I personally don't it's right), then his way gets taught. As the children grow older and they start thinking through things more then different views can be brought up. But until then it's a united front on all accounts. Thought this was helpful to show one of the practical ways submission plays out.

I am very sad I never looked into hypno birthing a little more before giving birth to my last baby.... The Hypno part made me completely close my door to it and I think there were a lot of beneficial aspects to it, though I'd still probably pick apart each practice a bit before committing.

I don’t blame you for battling fear regarding your second time doing a homebirth. After delivering one of my babies at home, I told my midwife I was NEVER doing that again. It’s crazy how we resolve in our minds that it’s worth it and keep having kids though. 😂

You can tell she’s been through and is continuing to be transformed by the Holy Spirit.. it seems as though she’s just letting go of the old version of herself and embracing the new creation she continues to be molded into by deleting the old stuff. It’s beautiful!🎉❤
I’ve never shown my kids on social.. I also didn’t post pregnancy photos until I was a few months postpartum. It creeps me out to see how many people save photos of children on public profiles.
I am pregnant and planning our third home birth... in two and half years...haha. I relate so much to what you're saying about ignorance being bliss. The first two I was fairly unbothered by the idea of birth in general but I have found myself saying, "I'm not ready to give birth yet" because I'm remembering what to expect (specifically postpartum) I'll be praying for you and a smooth delivery at home!

I loved the Christian hypnobirthing too! I thought I might get annoyed with it, so I didn’t get the paid version. But, with my last birth that’s all I wanted to listen to as well during the contractions v the worship music. If we have another baby I will definitely pay for the app. It really helped me through transition/the pushing phase

One thing I've learned about how submitting in differing theology plays out is with kids. Like if I have a different opinion on something, I'm going to teach my young kids the way my husband believes. I won't add my opinion on something and muddle the topic. Keep it plain and simple. He's the leader, so if his thought on it is not unbiblical (and not just "unbiblical" in the sense that I personally don't it's right), then his way gets taught. As the children grow older and they start thinking through things more then different views can be brought up. But until then it's a united front on all accounts. Thought this was helpful to show one of the practical ways submission plays out.

Amen regarding bible reading. To be honest the bible was a bore to me prior to being born again. But once He baptized me in the Holy Spirit I couldn't put that book down. It was alive! ❤
I am very sad I never looked into hypno birthing a little more before giving birth to my last baby.... The Hypno part made me completely close my door to it and I think there were a lot of beneficial aspects to it, though I'd still probably pick apart each practice a bit before committing.

I don’t blame you for battling fear regarding your second time doing a homebirth. After delivering one of my babies at home, I told my midwife I was NEVER doing that again. It’s crazy how we resolve in our minds that it’s worth it and keep having kids though. 😂

Only thing, didn’t you have some anemia issues with pregnancy before requiring blood transfusions? Wouldn’t you rather just have a natural hospital birth just in case you need that blood? No hate at all towards hospital births, just a general question.
This sounds really strange but anytime you are pregnant it comes to me like I'll be walking around my kitchen all of a sudden I'm like "Milenas pregnant" I come and check your pages and there you will be announcing a pregnancy or shortly after etc, I am no strange tarot teller I stay away from those things I have a strong belief in god, but yeah its strange your past 2 pregnancies same thing.
