    What I like, next to what they are doing now, with including combo's and alternate win conditions is that they also add some value cards in there that fit within what the deck is trying to do. So you also get some monetary value out of the box.
    I mean, it isn't too crazy, there have been more crazy decks out there, but they reprinted a few staples for it that I did not yet own and didn't feel like spending my money on because of their price. So that is always a nice additional benefit.
    Really hope the others are off a similar level. Because if not I might be disappointed.

    it has to be intentional. precons should be viable mid level decks

    The Yedora Combo also results in infinite mana because you can tap the Sakura-Tribe-Forest for mana before turning it face up.

    heck yeah! WOTC has been doing better and better in term of precon. OLJ is deff the tipping point. i do hope they keep continuing the streak of good precon, and not just putting card for the sake of being replaced. the first duskmourn reveal do look super good and im just hoping the rest 3 will be good too! if thats the case, i can see how WOTC will be making same concept of precon onward.
    Also BLB was so sucessful that all the precon here is sold out even till today

    I'm also really happy with where they're going with lands. I mean, they're not perfect...but for the $35 I spent on each Bloomburrow commander deck, they're honestly fantastic for the price.
    Also, I had no idea about the infinite combo in Animated Army! Pretty cool :D

    Here's another infinite token combo within the squirreled away precon
    Ogre slulmord + woe strider.
    Have a creature available, sac it to woe strider, triggers ogre slumlord to create a token, sac again to woe strider

    Amazing video! What's the website/app you are using to visualize all precon card list?

    Wouldnt gruul turf not work since you are limited to one land drop per turn? Or kodamas ability bypasses that?

  • @ATERRADOSmtg
    @ATERRADOSmtg 9 дней назад

    But dosent yedora just removes the card effect cus it got turn into a land? Or does it still work?

      Its a facedown land, so you can flip it

    look. i get that precons should be viable and useable. but infinite combos have 0 place in anything below cedh or high, high power games

      I Firmly disagree so many people avoid infinites and combos thinking they are purely for high power stuff but there are a lot of janky combos that don't often just win the game instead do something wild or give a cool payoff like being able to scry your whole deck or something like that. plus combo is an avenue of win condition that allows some players like a friend of mine who really doesn't like combat because he doesn't want to have to understand everything happening what could happen ect and would actually still like to win games. Combo's can be done in a fair way and are often very interruptible/interactable if you are running a normal amount of interaction. Shutting off an entire way of playing the game because you think its too strong is just plain silly.

      @@ThenewWereWolfGod im ok with combos. i firmly hate infinites. i dont think they are healthy to the game in any way

    • @ThenewWereWolfGod
      @ThenewWereWolfGod 8 дней назад

      @@TrashPandaPack kinda curious what you mean by okay with combos then? most combos result in an infinite something. infinites i think do have some value being they can close out long games or have a dedicated reset if people aren't having fun. i'd rather play a 10-15 minute game that ends in an infinite than a 50 minute game where everyone has gigantic boards and is just looking for their overrun or asymmetrical boardwipe.

    • @TrashPandaPack
      @TrashPandaPack 7 дней назад

      @ThenewWereWolfGod by a non infinite combo i mean exactly that, a combo with limited use. such as having to pay mana to repeat the combo so you only have so much mana, or playing. a bunch of cantrips into a board with a guttersnipe and niv mizzet. im fine with a game winning combo that ends the game. but i enjoy the suspense of someone might be able to stop it, or it mught leave someone alive just enough to take away the game. not just saying oh this card and this card give me infinite of this so i win

    • @clarkecreates
      @clarkecreates 7 дней назад +1

      @@ThenewWereWolfGod These combos are inevitable, I don't like them but when you have thousands of cards and no banlist it needs to be accounted for even if you're playing at "power level 7" there are infinite combos and we as a community need to stop being toxic about good decks in a great format being more accessible than ever.
      - in a roundabout way I agree with you
