Honestly, I could never get used to this orange-yellow filter that iPhones have had in photo video since the Xs. For me without a color correction in post the iPhones are unusable. It's true that the Xiaomi has a problem of overexposure in photos ( like almost all Android smartphones for that matter ), but oddly I prefer it in photos. On the other hand, there is zero contrast in the photos of the Xiaomi, that's a little too artificial. In video, however, the overexposure problem makes the Xiaomi almost unusable. But the worst is the colorimetric difference between the Xiaomi sensors, and seriously who had the idea of an unstabilized telephoto lens?🤦🏽♂️ Well at least he has 60 fps in selfie video 😏. I sincerely wonder if one day Android manufacturers will stop overexposing everything, wanting to make night videos brighter than ever and above all stop forcing the stabilization in video, to want to have a perfect video stabilization they make it unnatural and jerky. At least with regard to this comparison we can see that the photo-video material of this Xiaomi is good, it is the software which is a little wobbly, there is good hope that it will improve with updates

this is why i got the s22 instead, xiaomi's computational photography got worse. all that sensor and megapixel being big still not being able to produce excellent results.
Overall winner is definitely the iPhone. You can see the detail starting to come through at times with the Xiaomi. Then you say wait where is the detail from the last photo. Dynamic range seems to be a 3rd a stop better in the shadows with the Xiaomi. Both are still a bit too oversharpened, but I guess that's the trend nowadays

i think its intentional, maybe a new image approach because in night mode happens the same, photos are almost always underexposed but if you edit them in post, the details are there, i mean, i can´t explain it with words hahaha

I would use the nokia 6230.

Yes but the dynamic range improved far better thanks to that Sony sensor and most ppl don't use 15x or 20x zoom anyway

Agreed Barry, so far the 12 Pro is pretty disappointing and step back from the 11 series. Hopefully things improve over time, but I'm not so sure.
