Today's video was somewhat unexpected and definitely unplanned! Messing about with Maths as a drum computer turned into a full video of drum madness!

I love that you make really big things with a little amount of modules and it sounds fantastic! The learning experience on your channel is great as well. Can´t wait for the future videos
Oh you find the best combinations of things! Your patches are 🔥🔥🔥!! Haunting melodies, amazing beats. Thank you for focusing on Maths. I've had it in my head that you were the right person (for me) to reveal all its magical potential .
Great work as always mate ! Inspiring and sounding very good, with great use of stereo and that subtle musical touch of yours. Bravo ! Going to check that patch out on my system !
Incredible as always, I definitely appreciate the patch explanation before jam, your stuff is magic
this wassiiiiick!! love the crazy noise jams - more of these please!
Amazing video. Never thought to use maths like this. Appreciate you doing this. Very enlightening
Super inspiring video! Thanks for sharing!
Impressed with your work as usual! Now I must try something like this on my maths 😀I like how completely crazy it sounds. Considering industrial vibes, yeah, that part from 11:00 definitely sounds like it can be an FLA Live Wired intro 😀
Nice side quest. I was with you all the way. Loved it.
Wow very Nice patches! Thanks… Got totally inspired!
Glad to hear it!
OMG, 2nd patch is pretty awesome. I mean not the technology of the patch but how it sounds and you performed it!
I love doing this type of stuff. I just get lost in the sound exploration. This was fun and I certainly encourage more of it! 😎
This is really inspirational man! 🙌 Also, I love the sad plaits over there like "😟 hey what happened!? I'm not cool anymore?" 🤣
😂
Sweet spots are all with this kind of setup - Beads is brilliant at having multiple sweet spots with different source material producing infinite varieties of timbres and rhythms
fantastic stuff!!!
Nice one!
I had no idea maths could do this. 🤯
Dude every time you touch this you make pure gold.
Very nice! On the last patch I wish I could have heard the frequency mod attenuated a bit as well.
Love it - love MATHS
Once I patched a short envelope for hihat or snare with Math and accidentally patched the modulation into the cycle input: Got instant rachets! Works best with a trigger into the trig and a random Gate with modulated length to the cycle.
You could use the second channel for the Gate and do some more self patching…
Hey, totally hooked on your channel, thanks so much!
Can you tell me, what is that tiny little multiple coming out of Maths channel 1 in the last patch? I could really do with something like that!
Cheers man! It's a very cheap and handy headphone splitter. If you search online you'll find a good variety of cheap options :)
Just discovered this myself (patch 1) :D kind of reminding me of the sound of BIA
It totally does!
Maths Forever. But if you want super duper fun, add an S&H.... nearly instant Autechre.
How would you patch the S&H in that context? Sounds cool.
Yeah I’d like to know that too - how would you use the s&h there please? I never know what to do with mine
You can use the sample and hold to let through other sounds set on when the voltage from maths goes high. So I will use this out of sequence from a beat to let through a wet version of the beat, as an example. Like letting through the audio from beads or data bender off beat
Check out the Mylar Melodies sample and hold videos.
@@digicat247 cool I’ll check it out thanks for the tip. 👍
If you modulated the both input with a stepped voltage or a S&H it will make the trigger of envelopes speed up or slow down in a rhythmic way. That’s basically what a Krell patch is.
lovely stuff! how are you capturing this audio? 2 x mono mini jack to 1/4 jack cables out of the FXaid into your soundcard as stereo?
That’s exactly right! I have the zoom L12 which has 12 inputs so I can capture multi outputs individually.
Since my SQ-1 died I’ve being trying to learn to ❤ the BSPro..
but I don’t..😬👍
Ooh is that a minifreak on the right? What are you thoughts on that synth? Are we getting a video about that one in the future?
It is indeed! I’ve barely had a chance to delve into it but first impressions are good ☺️
What delay are you using here? Can't make out the name
It’s the z5000 from top top audio :)
@@TheUnperson Cheers pal! I wiz Googlin '23000' 😆
@@bbwoolfy haha close!!
Is there nothing Maths can’t do..? 😂👍
