Ok I’m starting to think that if every time I’m lusting over the featured gear in your videos, it may be less about the hardware and more about the user lol😅
These are great little boxes. I think Record mode A or B is an auto-overdub one (so, will gradually replace the buffer with new audio as you go along). Apparently, there's an easy mod to turn the wet / dry from 50/50, to 100% wet. Haven't tried that on mine though. I got one of these, as I read an interview with Autechre, who mentioned using them (Chiastic Slide does sound like the crunchy, pitched down parts of the RSD).
Gate usually denotes length like it does with an ADSR, so in the context of a sampler it would most probably mean it controls the playback duration of the sample so it can be adjusted to taste or modulated via gate length from the sequencer. A trigger would likely be a one shot where sample duration is set on the panel or is fixed to whole?
have you had any success getting the footswitch input to respond to CV/gate? i have an RPS-10 and i'd love to be able to control its hold input with modulation without having to build a relay box
I‘ll have to give that a try. I’m sure I’ve tried it in the past but can’t remember if it worked or not. Would definitely be a lot of fun CV’ing the hold.

I confirm this delay unit is amazing - it’s what made me get a Mutable Clouds!
One of the most musical uses of that unit you’ll find on here, nice!
That little box of tricks got me through my BA 3rd year. I used it as a crazy looper for some spoken word performances in '93
Anytime i see microrack, i click. I only have the phaser but would love the set. Pure gas and age specefic. I used to sit it on my juno106.
I always enjoy how you are able to dive into the gear, get something crazy out of if, but then tame it into some very musical (and tasty) jams.
i see this too. great presentations
I know you’ve done so many beads videos but it would be cool to see you do one similar to this focused on looping! This was a great video!!!
Thanks man! Can never have too many Beads video so I’ll add it to the list :D
and the music is great
man, you really crafted up some jams on this one!! bravo!!
ooo we needed this
Your channel is like a GAS station I want all the gear
RSD FTW.

For sure! Ally is a magician.

You got some inspired, hot tracks out of that 🤘🏼
Goddamn that's amazing! 🔥🤯

This is awesome!!! So is the cassette! Got any new releases coming soon?
I think the EP-1320 just stole the Weirdest Sampler Ever title.
the Medieval release for sure!
i traded an old atari 2600 for the RPS-10 recently. pretty fun but i had a hard time finding practical uses for it. very cool though
I like for making weird sounds to sample :)
shhhhhhh!

@@TheUnperson sounds good, hopefully nothing gets fried! if it doesnt work and i do end up designing a relay box i'll pass along the schematic.
