2002 WC champions was pretty much the 1999 copa america winders with the addition of ronaldinho, the team they sent to the confederations cup was a B team with a ronaldinho and players they were trying to test for the next WC.

Some people dont believe home field advantage plays a role in sports. but Oh my it did for Mexico in 1970 1986 and 1999. Only reason why mexico didnt advance furth in 1970 or 1986 was because they lost to powerful opponents. 1999 Mexico had agood squad players on prime! 2026 world cup Mexico will have great players but i dont consider it as a world cup for mexico if they dont play all their games in mexico or atleast in very Mexican populate cities.
