Attended the concert in Mannheim on June 8, 2019. Four days after this. I hope someone did make a similar archive of that one 'cause it was unforgettable! Both the Uplugged and Electric versions of Layla on the same night!

Songs like Forever Man.............well that just puts a smile on my face because of the Long coats (Wild Bunch) and love hearing Donald 'Duck' Dunn.............then i actually heard a song that i never really listened to before (Heard it but not thought about the words) "Hello Old Friend". Eric captures just about every aspect of my life and when i hear a song it magically transports me back to that time and those memories.............Some times i smile and other times i reflect about maybe how my life could have been different. Only music can do that to us!!!

He reminds me of my brother. Hair style and face very similar. He was very much into Eric like so many millions. He played drums and dug Ginger Baker too. He was a very good drummer. He passed away last year so when I saw this and another I was quite struck by how much he looked like Eric. He was about 7 years younger than him. Nice memories. He turned me on to a lot of great groups and artists. The original Cream crossroads is one of my favorites and it inspired me to play guitar. Eric is one of my biggest influences. Play on and blow them away! You sure are one of the greatest!

It seems either the world class Soundbar was not allowed. Or its not released. At any rate I prefer the non- tunnel sound that speaks to me, in my mind, the undeniable sense of completeness that is reaching far into my heart and soul. Its great he is managing. I also have intensely complex neurologic complications that can stop the baddest locomotive ever on the tracks. And not on the sleek or near silent ribbon rails. Yes my career involved the most profitable, and innovative, cutting edge innovater. Kinda like EC's sound personnel and all others who share this "not really work because you love it" --type of passion shared. With a handful. Or two..of others..there are very few that can take most any song they wrote or enhance..and bring the tears that free me and soothe the pains of being a part of this world struggle to have a bit of sucess on a small scale, with many people I come in contact with. Random Acts ( of kindness, just lending an ear, or sharing whats become ridiculous, or impossible..and on into the infinity of troubling matters or celebrating success that often is not acknowleged for most of us. Yes random acts are possibly our best option if we cant move mountains.. And start the day with soubds and sights you find in great artists right here..be glad eyes that still weel-up..and its a complex release..often both stress loss or worries combines with vreat feeling of have beautiful and indescribable beauty in fron of you ..Accessable. Celebrate the basics. And what we can share.
