I was there last night. We didn’t have great seats but it was incredible. It was all so surreal that I was in the same room as Eric Clapton, watching him play in real life. At 77 he is just as great as he has ever been. So glad to finally see him after being a fan for 50 years.
Yes ma'am I am from T-Town Tulsa Oklahoma I enjoyed going with Sierra Clapton and I was photojournalist at that point in time before I went to Vietnam and you know he was born and raised there while he wasn't ready but he was going there and like Leon Russell and so many more but yes ma'am I seen this post Fairgrounds Pavilion 1973 before I left to Asia but yeah yeah you're 100% on track on that and that is one of the most very very most cherished guitar players and and I will always been guitar inclined since I was 5 years old the the Gibson 6-string the Les Paul electric where everything goes out and 12 string Yamaha acoustic guitar damn I got up out of my ladies' board chairs and grab my phone and look and see him and got it down 50 years went back that quick and it reminisce you know brought memories back out that I thought was almost dead back in the you know 5152 years back but yes ma'am don't know your name but you didn't take it but that's not important what is important is you sharing the moments with the one and only Eric Clapton keep up the good work I'll be watching may get to see another good memory of yours take care baby girl
My niece and I flew from Western Canada for his concert. Our original tickets were for 2020. So glad it finally could happen. Eric was my husband's favourite artist and he always wanted to see him live in Europe. He passed in a car accident in 2019 so that fall I booked our tickets as a tribute to him. He was with us as we saw this phenomenal concert with a master.
I still can’t believe I was there that night. Flew all the way from Salamanca, Spain to see him. I’m 19. Got floor tickets and managed to be almost in first row. I will never forget it. He surprised me too, I thought he would only play acoustic
Funny, I'm actually digging him more now than ever. I find his playing is just so pure and natural, with less flash than his earlier stuff but more soul. No one like Clapton!
Hi all, what a night 😍, I came from France for the event, not to miss my favorite guitar player since I'm 14 years old and I'm now 59... Both me and my wife, overwhelmed by émotions during the accoustic part of the show, my wife and I could not stop the tears of joy from flowing. All our favorite songs have been played almost. "Wonderful tonight" being OUR song on which we met and dance after that so many times. I'm really happy and proud to have had the opportunity to see on stage one of the best musician of the universe in this beautiful town of Amsterdam 😍❤️
I also was there with my youngest daughter. We enjoyed the concert very much. Great musicians and backing vocals. I listen to his music since I was a teenager. I am 59 now and I still love to listen to his music. I play a little guitar myself and I sure am influenced by his music. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
I bought my tickets back in 2019 and then kept until recently when the concert was re-introduced. I have traveled all the way from Tbilisi Georgia to Amsterdam together with my wife and daughter to attend the show at Ziggo Dome on the June 7. What an amazing and unforgettable evening. Now when I'm back home I enjoy watching the recorded concert which brings back my memories from that night. Fantastic musicians and very well selected setlist. I'm 57 and so glad that my son and my daughter (27 and 22) are enjoying this kind of music so much. Thanks to Eric and the band!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally after waiting for 2 years after buying the tickets we saw the best Blues guitar player in the universe. Together with my two sons we really enjoyed the performance! At least that part of the upbringing is successfully completed :-) Thanks Eric and all for a great evening!

i too am a Badge fanatic i can't get enough of the princes trust version with Steve Gadd, in my top 3 clapton list, i remember always being disappointed when listening to my cream cassette in the 80's when it would end after 3 mins
You know over the years I've heard him do I Shot the Sheriff I don't know how many different versions dozens and I think this is the best version I've ever heard Eric Clapton at 77 playing like a young man, Eric is the Magic Man

The man travels as others sleep! Saturday night his boat, Blue Guitar, was on the hook outside Sipican harbor in Massachusetts, whilst he was ashore attending his daughter’s graduation! Four days later and he’s doing a show in Amsterdam. Very tasteful and elegant boat BTW.

@@paulzendo6079 For regular standards yes...I saw Genesis last March at the Ziggo too and they clocked until 130 minutes approx. I remember seeing David Gilmour in 2015 in Orange (France) and he went until almost 3 hours (with a 20 minute intermission)...I feel Clapton was a little tired at the end. Musically speaking the concert was extraordinary
I mean I’d rather have 90 minutes of godly music than a concert of 2 hours that ends up being a little bit dead towards the end. It was my first time going to Clapton and I enjoyed every second of it, so I’m very quickly satisfied I guess
