      Well said and absolutely correct. Stevens knows his business and if he's showing it you better believe it works. Stevens is "All go & no show."

      My coach taught it to me as he used de ashi barai, uchi mata, ippon seoi nage and ko uchi gari/makikomi
      They were his tokio waza

      Haga makes several movements that show pressure backwards during his matches. De ashi, osoto, ouchi, kouchi all regular moments for him. This allows the forward uchimata great success.

    Very well explained, still get countered and/or lose control of the opponent sometimes , I guess I´m not putting enough weight .

    Some would say that's a hanei goshi. I don't care. To me, uchimata has always been a hip throw.. Nice video.

      It's not 50/50 left on right if you have inside control. You can always do this technique from the neck or back grip as well. It's just better to learn from the collar.
