    Incursion systems have an "influence" mechanic where there is a scaling penalty to capsuleer resistances and outgoing damage depending on how much control over the system sansha have. The max penalty depends on the system class where vanguard/assault/headquarters have 10/25/50% penalties respectively at full sansha influence.
    iirc the rats first name is the system from which they are abducted and the second name is the part of the brain where some mind control device is implanted.
    Tama/Outuni/Auga/Deltole/Schmaeel will warp disrupt you (Yes it says scrambled, but MJD/MWDs will still work)
    Outuni/Auga/Renyn/Schmaeel will web
    Outuni has capital neuts (deltole/niarja will also neut)
    Mara/Intaki are logi
    Arnon/Niarja will jam you.

    you can get back to high sec easily by using a filiment to jump into pochven, then wait your 15 min timer out ,then filiment back to high/low sec.. all these filiments are are the market, i usually carry quite a few

    oof that was rough :s
    Yeah gate to gate in a zero security system you don't know is a high risk activity.
    I must say though, this player that set this trap really put a lot of effort into it and its paying off too.
    Despite this loss I must give them some credit for the effort lol
    In my oppinion this is what EVE should be about. Tactics, schemes, brawls, placements, etc its what makes the game fun.
    It makes you feel the risk of playing the game and keeps it exciting.
    Puts the HS gankers to shame tbh :)
    What went wrong were the webs, the battleships can't lock onto a T3 if its running a AB and going at 500+ m/s so when you got webbed they just applied really well.
    The debuff on your tank and dps from the invasion makes these ships very difficult to solo with out a ship which is dedicated to kill them.
    I think in this case you got unlucky, if you steered clear from the frigs and stay out of web range you would stand a chance, but they are fast as fck.
    That or refit to a MWD and just blast to the gate.
    The depot on a T3 makes you able to change rigs, modules etc so a travel fit wouldn't be bad either.
    With D-scan you can see the bubble on gate, with a nulifier you would just warp straight to your warp point if activated prior to warp.
    Anyway, glad you showed this side of EVE as well
    Good stuff !

    If you want to get home faster, use a pochven filament and use an extraction filament, that will likely bring you close to home

      Can use any of them. But tengu is the more pve oriented one. They all work though, just might need to be a bit more blingy, or do different sites.

    I think you made it out of the bubble before you were webbed/scrammed. I could be wrong. Keep an eye on that next time and be mashing the warp button if you want to escape, I think you got caught up in the fight and stopped trying to get away. Great vids though and I hope you keep up this series! I also thought your last video was a pop when it said epic fail in the description. [edit] I was also wondering how you hadn't seen any bubbles or gate camps in this series. lol. Also with a nullification module and dscan you could've seen it coming, popped the module, and jumped, but who knows what was on the other side of that gate.

    Easiest way to get back to highsec is pochven. Always bring a border or an internal filament and a proximity one and you're good to go.

    The tengu works better than a gila when you encounter web towers at like 70k. HML tengu can hit them. Drones have to fly there and back if you have to warp out.

    What was the exact affect that the cargo containers had on you with being killed? Just trying to understand exactly what happened so the same thing doesn’t happen to this newbro 👍🏻

    • @BIGxJIMxSLADE
      @BIGxJIMxSLADE 2 года назад +10

      Anything that is within 2000m of you causes you to uncloak. They set up the bubbles to catch, and the containers to uncloak the ship so that the rats would do the rest. The cherry on top was the mtu to scoop the cargo.
      I had never seen that setup before and it's pure genius, tbh.

    • @siege00
      @siege00 2 года назад +3

      The cargo containers (also known as gate trash) keep cloakies from cloaking if you're too close to them. As he mentioned, a good reason to not jump gate to gate, or even from obvious other locations like sun to gate / planet to gate. Best to set up safe or perch in range of the gate to dscan it if possible and warp from an indirect location like a safe.

  • @rocketpanda29

    Definitely gotta travel first your tongue and refit after you find a site lol. Adjusting your fit with rigs for range is also helpful. Medium shield booster and an amplifier + hardners for the 2 specific damage types. I also use 2 guidance computers which gets me 40-50km range with the rigs. Just suggestions. I have done a lot of 6/10s in Sansha and Guristas space. The range makes things much faster.

    Dont like the Hamgu over the HML Tengu with 71km missile range with t2 Scourge missile. Problem with Tengu is you need a dedicated ammo barge with the amount of ammo you run through.
