Vewlix and Chewlix Arcade difference? Let's talk about it!

- Today's video we are going to talk a little about the difference between a Vewlix and a Chewlix Arcade machine. So, a Chewlix is basically a copy of a Vewlix. Is there really any big difference not really but let's talk about it and I'll show you how I have mine hooked up and what it's running on and we will play some Street Fighter 6 on it and talk about it.

These are really cool, and you’ve got a nice setup on yours. Like the color scheme. I’m currently working on a custom build based on the VewLix design, but if I ever found a good deal I’d pick snag a chew/vewlix.

How do you feel with the vewlix/chewlix since this video? I want a candy cab at some point and was interested in the unico novablast, but I'm seeing for just a little more I can get a chewlix and really debating. Main thing I like on unico right now is just that I can separate the 2 making it easier to store and move around plus the jamma connection but that's about it
If you rather spend a little more on a chewlix it's way better than a Unico Nova Blast for sure. These can be used for anything too. I love mine and would recommend one if you have the money.

What does your pc have? Specs wise? I have an arcade cabinet with an intel nuc extreme i9-12900 64gb ram and an rtx 3080. Ive been playing sf6 nonstop!! Love playing it on my arcade

Yeah my friend has a ton of Vewlix and candy cabs so got it from him. Mines highly modded. Best thing in it is a 2k screen for real nice picture.

Where did you get the magnetic graphics from?
They were on there when I bought this from my friend but I believe he got them on eBay cuz there’s a guy that sells them on there and they’re magnetic

Where did you get the magnetic art work? Also where did you order the 2k screen?
The friend I bought this machine from is the one that built it. I just put the pc in it. The magnetic artwork can be found on ebay. 2k screen not sure I’ll have to check with my friend.

@@TheRealRustyGrill here’s an example of one of the listing. I looked on mine and my friend just put magnetic strips on the artwork. So just buy the artwork and buy magnetic strips for easy change outs.

Just missing powering on when power go in ( from bios ) + using frontend startup like one used in multi ttx2 or bigbox etc
Yeah I need to fix that in Bios meant to do that today but forgot.
Man.. I love those machines.. what a beauty.. always wanted one and I would pop in my gtx 1070 PC to play it.. but the shipping to NV kills me.. not to mention the little space that I have on a second floor condo.. probably couldn't even fit it through the front door.. lol
The control panel flips up so will fit through the door. Yeah these machines are amazing. I plan on getting one more to run old games on.

Where do you by these chewlix's? Im sure there are a bunch made with varying quality.
@@andyk8888 there’s chewlix and vewlix. Vewlix is from Japan and Chewlix is the China clone of the vewlix. Mine is a chewlix but was gutted and made better than the original Vewlix. You can search for them online.
You can set up any PC to boot with power, its a setting in the bios which you can access from the prompt when it first boots. Then everything can be done with just your main power button. Enjoy!

Cause that’s how I like to pronounce. It’s really pronounced like “VewLicks”
There is no N in vewlix or chewlix
