  • Meet Piper, the Ever After High Doll that became a Steampunk Fairy! I started this doll around New Year's--in fact I used a new camera I got for Christmas. Her creation took a little longer than usual for me and well so is her video! It's a slightly longer episode than the normal one, but I hope you enjoy watching:)
    Materials Used:
    Mr. Super Clear
    Citadel Colour Acrylic Paint: Cadian Fleshtone
    Staedtler Watercolour Pencils
    Black Acrylic Paint
    Gouache Paint
    Soft Chalk Pastels (oil-free)
    Oil-Free Eyeshadow Palette
    Gouache Paints
    Ever After or Monster High Doll Shoes (I think they're Ever After)
    Liquitex Gloss Varnish
    steampunk cog charms from Michaels Hobby
    Key charms from Michaels Hobby
    Jump Rings from Michaels Hobby
    Jewelry wire
    copper wire from Lowe's
    aluminum can
    plastic from the package of a Monster High Box and from a Coldstone Cake top
    Non-wipe Top Coat (I used Kiara Sky brand but you can use whichever brand you like)
    Born Pretty chrome powder (i used pink and blue)
    UV lamp for curing
    Black Ribbon from Joanne's
    Burgundy or Red cotton fabric from Joanne's Fabrics
    Stretch Velvet from Joanne's fabrics
    embroidery thread in color of choice (i went with a gold color)
    the catchs from a set of hooks for the top
    sharpie pen
    3d Gold Gel Nail Polish
