jonnybaze you can’t say we are babysitting just because of someone else’s lack of work ethics. Are you inferring we are All babysitters? It goes both ways and some students aren’t there to learn. For some teachers it is a check and not a career. For many of us though we aren’t just educating but also raising them. We are instilling character, morals, and respect to those children who don’t always have those experiences at home. And I’ll agree. I don’t feel safe. There is not enough room in our classes for he numbers they want. I’d rather be on campus than on a computer, Google Classroom is NOT my friend.

Dr. Hildreth then went into more details about the study. "They collected air samples from a hospital room that had COVID-19 patients who were not coughing or sneezing and were in isolation rooms," Dr. Hildreth said. "This room have a fairly sophisticated air ventilating system. The total air in the room was changed six times per hour, or every ten minutes. It was filtered down to 0.3 microns, about three times the size of a virus particle. The air was also passed through a UV irradiation device to sterilize it. So, after all that, they took the air from the room, they subjected it to two things: they look for virus nucleic acids, they also ask whether they can culture virus from the air by putting it onto cells that are susceptible to the virus. The answers to both of those questions were yes."

"High school teachers speak out about their concerns before going back to school" thereby motivating us, the people of America, to redouble our efforts to rapidly find out at any given moment, including even while On-line, who among us are unwittingly contagious (i.e. pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic) in order to convince them to call their doctor and self-quarantine per their doctor in hopes of stopping this pandemic so that our children can safely return to all our schools for in-person learning here in the U.S.

So should we automate teaching? Pre-programmed lesson on-line? Man that would save some tax-payer money. "This study should inform decisions about opening schools, churches, certain sports venues and other things, especially where large numbers of people will gather and the ventilation is not adequate to change the air frequently," Dr. Hildreth said. So if the virus remains in the air in an isolation room in a hospital that changes the air six times per hour, UV irradiates the air, filters the air triple, three times, and you can still find virus, what makes us think you can open a school where the ventilation is poor and HVAC systems are outdated. I'll leave you to think about that."

With preventative doses of HCQ nobody, neither students nor teachers would need to worry and we wouldn't even need face masks which let the virus through, like mosquitoes flying through a chain link fence. Also It is a fact that zinc deficiency increases your risk of both catching the China Virus and getting sick from the virus. So taking Zinc orotate or even Zinc citrate would help you be sure you are not zinc deficient and put you way ahead of the game.

That's what we do at home. I prefer to have the kids at home running around all day. They have too much energy? Turn it into something positive. Have them help you out around the house, you can even have fun taking the trash out together, making the bed together, small tasks like those. Kids will social distance? Lol. Don't make me laugh. Our kids are not going back and that's final!

And if we're having problems with our teeth, we do not call the auto mechanic, we call a dentist who has been trained to take care of that problem. My point is, with all due respect, some of our elected leaders who have pushed to open schools the hardest are the least qualified to know if it's safe to do so, and they're refusing to listen to the public health experts who spent their whole lives and careers studying these things. So, my advice, as you make the stressful and difficult decisions on whether to have children in a school, please listen to those who spent their whole lives and careers studying and determining whether it would be safe to do so."

Perhaps you found the four greatest teachers in the area because the reality of which for my special needs child was not so . I have's eight classes plus his three therapies only four teachers were on remote learning the other four refused to use a computer that was not their thing their words not mine . So were there great teachers who helped out yes I can aim for the four who there for my son throughout the day . But no there was no nine time connectivity none whatsoever "oh it's after 2:18 sorry can't talk to you know bye." As for the three therapies only two came back on the last week of May and the first week of June and then school is over . That means the month of March the month of April the month of May there were no therapies that I pay for separately from my taxes to the school district . If this was a regular company they would be fired for not showing up . But that's not true . Again there for great teachers absolutely utterly great recommend them to anyone and for that ignored their responsibilities . Also you've neglected again the IEP students the disabled students the ones that for some reason even though they're medically fragile need to appear at school four to five days a week regardless of hybrid or virtual learning . Really another set of expendable lives so that they can say we're helping the poorest of the poor the problematic of the most problematic yeah you're helping them into an early grave and their families and if they do not social distance anyone else around them . Bad reporting on your part do better next time ask more than just those few oh yeah in the western part of the state of New Jersey in the southern part of the city New Jersey does exist consider us next time .

I don’t have children, but I find it terrifying for the children in my school district. As well as my community at large. In my district once the students are seated at their desks they can remove their masks. This just makes no sense to me at all in a closed room! I hope I’m wrong, but it seems like a recipe for a disaster. I am in upstate New York, and fought so hard to get our numbers down. I am fearful they will be right back up again. As strict as our reopening plan has been in my state (NY) I can’t believe our governor is allowing students to sit in a closed classroom without masks on.

Linda Adkins this is true. But at the end of the day it’s all about money. The big corporations that are losing money because of the pandemic want all the worker bees to get back to work. If a couple million people die that’s the cost of doing business for them. The politicians serve these large corporations. They don’t serve us, even though we pay their wages. And don’t think for a minute that the virus affects these billionaires like you and I. They can hide in their bubble they don’t need to be exposed. They can hang out in their gated communities and their yachts while the rest of us expendable workers support them so they can do just that - isolate themselves from any exposure. This is the way the world works and I can except that, but at least the leaders that we pay, at the very least they could come up with some kind of a plan and pretend to have some empathy for the rest of us that don’t have the luxury of living in a bubble.

@@beautifulroses1420 Actually what you just said is not only false, but doesn't even make sense. This is a virus, it's size ranges from 1-2 micros and no mask that is being sold over the counter is able to block/protect from anything smaller than 3 micros. That's why if you read the CDC website you will see that masks are not mandatory. Mask do help prevent a sick person from coughing droplets of infected spit into the air around them, but nothing protect the wearer of a mask. It spreads exactly like the Flu & cold, ever heard of the saying, cover your mouth when you cough?
It dies from sunlight and UV light in seconds. If this virus was even remotely as dangerous as the media claims it to be, the simple solution would be to change all light bulbs in schools to a UV type of bulb.

So what about all of the daycare workers, like my 67 year old mom, who has no problem working with 17 unmasked two year olds in one room? She's been working this whole time with no fear and you can't social distance two year olds or make them wear masks either. She worked through the swine flu pandemic, attended school as a kid during the H2N2 pandemic and as a 16 year old teen during the H3N2 pandemic. They didn't shut schools down for those pandemics. People need to accept the reality that pandemics are nothing new and people get sick and/or die every day. No one is above dying. If you're scared then quit your job and go hide in a basement.
