    Not knowing what model AC you have, the longer airstreams with 1 AC need to have a 15,000BTU unit and needs an air box that blows air forward and aft only. The newer dometic air boxes are designed for RVs with slide outs and 2 ACs and don’t deliver enough cold air to the end caps. I retrofitted my dometic with a coleman air box that blows front and back and it made a huge difference.

      Great advice! We were way out of our league. Old Airstream with the original air conditioner. 😳
