If you look closely you will see that the parade should not offend anyone. A - Because they are going past shops WHICH ARE CLOSED,due to the fact its a public holiday FOR ALL ! B - Because they are playing Hymn tunes. C - There is no other route they can go to get into belfast. D- They were put on bus's a few years ago to go past the shops, they were bricked and stoned. E- There is no trouble from protestants during the St Patrick's day parades when catholic people invade belfast
firstly im no fan of the Orange Order or their marches(or republican marches i must add) but that is 1 band and 1 lodge.i had the impression Ardoyne was under siege from bands, lodges and the crowds all day long on the 12th.Doesnt appear to be the case at all
if i lived in a shop nothing more would please me than a ine piece of phil coulter music to help me rise out of bed. Pity no residents live on this stretch of road and its only empty shops. I think a few phil coulter fans have missed out!
There is amnesty to those who had committed terrorism before good Friday agreement. Do not let historic team investigateing past crime frighten you. Please get my message to the media.
There is Amnesty for those who committed act of terrorism before Good Friday Agreement. Then why was a Loyalist sent to prison this week for committing act of terrorism in 1973. There is one law for Republicans & another law for Loyalists. Government is afraid to act against Republican criminals. click Justice party UK.
@burnleyfan11965 video doesnt do it justice... the drums and flutes are really loud, when i hear them marching down the road about half mile from my house in the summer it makes me feel uneasy.. having them walk past your door must be quite intimidating
Dont know why the band and lodge showed respect and dignity to the people that live behind those shops on the crumlin road when the so called locals dont have respect for the area look at the state of that area its a pig sty
i feel dignity would have been not playing at all on that section of road as they are well aware that that is one of the most contended march routes in belfast.. i suppose a giant police cordon and people not being able to pass freely through parts of their own area for hours and then the insueing unrest, if thats dignity well then i suppose you have your dignity...
@pfhrmb i dont know whether youre in ardoyne but unless people give ground on BOTH sides the peace process wont move any firther.if i was there id stay in my house and ignore them, you make them feel important having a riot over something that takes 5 mins to pass.im no fan of the orangemen but people in NI going to have to learn to compromise.Same as unionists should accept the name Derry instead of londonderry, heel even their apprentice boys are DERRY not londonderry!!.u all must compromise
YA,S ALL SPK WITH AN IRISH:-P ACCENT AT THE END OF THE DAY ENGLAND,SCOTLAND,WALES THE WORLD CLASS YE'S AS IRISH NO MATA WAT HEHE WASTING YA TIME LADS UNLESS YE TAKE UP ELECUTION LESSONS HA:-D. TAL!!
These sectarian marchers could have just as easily marched around ardoyne than through making innocent Nationalist prisoners in their own homes..sticks and stones will break my bones but slandarous songs cause me more harm
