  • In this video I convert a Bruder toy dozer into a fully functioning RC dozer. It is relatively cheap to make but does require some skill.
    follow along and I hope this video helps you. Part 2 link is in the description below.
    where you can buy the toy.

    I'm about to do one of these myself. Love the zip ties in the Tracks idea! I wish I could've seen the actual build prOcess, I'm hoping to find it somewhere.
    Your build was really clean and tidy!

      There are some guys who have videos on building theirs. It is a really simple build. If you have any questions on building let me know and I can help. Im also on facebook if you want to send a message there.

    I just bought this model to hopefully build a full metal one in larger size. I am shooting for 200lbs in weight minimum. I have some 7.5" sprockets and Stainless steel track chains already. I hope I can build it soon.

      @@rcchbuilds Thanks, I have a project I had started 3 years ago on my channel and will tear it down and build a dozer. I think a track loader may be more expensive than a dozer. I will check out your other videos for more info on radio / electronics side of builds.

    Have a build parts list for this by chance?

    • @RCConstructionHobby
      @RCConstructionHobby  Год назад

      For this build, I didn't have one at the time as it was my first build. But you can use the basic Futaba 5001 servo for the blade lift. the 360 servos you can use a continuous servo or make your own. Depends on your skill level. You can search continuous rotating servo on amazon or your local hobby shop or even Aliexpress and they will all work.

    Hope you enjoy this video. This is more of a how to. If you have any questions let me know. I followed some of the RC forums on how to build this. I made my own modifications to suit what I wanted to do.
    If you want to buy the dozer itself check out this link amzn.to/2BJ7WPi

      Do you have a build parts list for this as far as which servos radio model number etc?

    Como conectas los servos para que haga el giro?

    • @RCConstructionHobby
      @RCConstructionHobby  7 месяцев назад

      The servos connect to the receiver. Then you create a mix for the tracks.

    Another question how is the futaba servo for the blade up down movement mounted?
    Is it screwed in using the servo mounting tabs or hot glued or ?? THANKS

    • @RCConstructionHobby
      @RCConstructionHobby  Год назад

      I glued it in with hot glue which was easier for my first try. I made a new dozer that is all 3d printed which has all the parts list and things required to make it on my other channel.

    Hi what servos did you use to drive the the tracks

  • @dendensadventures4358
    @dendensadventures4358 4 года назад

    Hey, love the video!!! I'm building one myself, if you don't mind me asking, where did you get the linkage you used to hook the blade to the servo?? I've looked for them but I can't find any that has the tooth inset that fits the servo, so what brand did you use?? I'm new to the RC world, your video is what made me wanna start with this dozer!!! Keep them coming!!

    • @RCConstructionHobby
      @RCConstructionHobby  4 года назад

      sorry for the delayed response. I used an old threaded rod from an old RC plane I had. check out your local hobby shop and ask them for a 4-40 type rod to link on to a servo. you can bend it based on the length you need. the servo I am using is just a regular futaba S3003 servo. comes with all the head attachments to link to. let me know if that helps.

    What servo do you use in D5? And What esc and battery?

    • @RCConstructionHobby
      @RCConstructionHobby  4 года назад

      Great questions! so the servos for the drive is 2x Hitec HSR-1425CR Continuous Rotation Servo. for the blade servo I choose to use a regular servo 1x ANNIMOS Digital High Torque Servo 20KG Full Metal Gear, found on amazon amzn.to/36OWBL8. No ESC as there are no motors. Battery is a Gens ACE 1300Mah 7.4v Lipo. probably find it cheaper at your local hobby shop. hope that helps.

    To fix your booboo, look up 3D drawing pen

    • @RCConstructionHobby
      @RCConstructionHobby  4 года назад

      Thanks I will look into that. I used some of that plastic powder mixed with a resin to fill in the mistake. I think the next step is to get a 3d printer and start making some new parts to make this a more versatile machine.
