- Kreg Tools release a new cabinet jig and I tested and compaired it with the two other jigs that many of you may already have in your wood or cabinet shop. The other jigs are from Suncony and True Position Tools. There are some similarities and differences. If you are looking to use a cabinet jig you must watch this video to help you decide what cabinet hardware jig is best for you and a few things that you may not know about Kreg tools and their new jig.

Interesting break down
Having gone through the manufacturing process myself and understanding what it really takes to make a truly great tool there is only one that stands out.
Good information. Is there cabinet jig price somewhere in between and closer to $100.00 or less?
Not that I am aware of. They do go on sale from time to time.
Wish I had seen this before I did my kitchen remodel. I had 32 Cabinet pulls to align. Great review
Wow 32 pulls that is crazy. Thanks for the encouragement.
What a waste of money!
Make your own in around a minute out off a couple of free offcuts!
You wouldn't have the speed or precision these jigs offer. Time is money and customers expect perfection.
@HowYouCanMakeIt customers expect perfection, and pay alot for it, so I've got five minutes to knock up a bespoke jig (5 years at college, 20 years experience, I know what I'm doing to .025mm)
In areas where high production rates matter, someone made every variant of the jig needed..
I just think the price of these things is way off, it's a diy tool, but priced as a trade tool, trades can't justify the outlay when they can make one in the time it takes to assemble,
And most diy people would only use such a thing once!
Maybe however the True Position version's features surpass the other two and make the process much faster. Plus you cant use the other two for shaker cabinets. You could aways market to your customers you have more accurate builds than the guy down the street and up-charge.
